I bought a Sterling Gray 2023. Pretty awesome for a work truck. It has tons of torque down low, more than the 5.3. It sounds like a minivan when you really get on the gas, which is a downer, but it isn't loud. The wheels are really nice and I like the grille and small bowtie much better than the upscale models. The ride is surprisingly good and it is very quiet at highway speeds. Averaging 20.3mpg with mostly suburban driving. Wish I could hear the turbo spooling, but my hearing sucks.
@@LurkSquadd I left the halogens that came with it and bought some led ones like the trailboss or lst’s never understood why they wouldn’t put the leds but Ig just thought it should’ve had some being a custom
Beautiful truck. I want one. 2.7l, dont care. As long as its not $70k on up. LED yes. 4x4 yes. Bench seats yes. Cloth interior, thats okay. Technology upgrade, yes. Sound system, would be nice. Retirement truck, yes. Can't wait.
I bought the short bed crew cab trail boss version with Z71, 5.3 V8, multiflex tailgate, and sprayed in bed liner options. I like it a lot but added two dealer installed options: 4 inch assist steps and rear wheel housing inserts. The steering wheel tilts but no telescopic feature. The CarPlay feature is a one step procedure to be able to wirelessly enjoy all my music on my iPhone.
I've been looking into getting a new truck. I had the Colorado Dremax, of 2017 with 32,200 miles. I now have my sites on the 2024. I don't want to let the truck go but this new truck will do for my needs. Have $15.000 left to pay it off but why spend that when I don't want the truck anymore. As with the Colorado Dremax 2017, I will get the truck under lease and buy it. So will the truck end up at $55.000 after all is said and done?
Has anyone noticed an annoying high pitch, mechanical like noise that sounds a bit like interference as you press the gas on these? I've test driven 2 different trims, the WT and custom and noticed it on both. Is this normal?

I'm going nuts, the neighborhood you drove through looks so familiar. What State are you in?
I am in Connecticut
For anyone in doubt....hook up and tow with it.
