Cause their literacy is higher.. They r educated..
India also.. If u went to states where literary is high they r too clean.. Kerela, nagaland, sikkim, goa, etc
@@HomeS8fe This literacy thing is a myth. Some states have high literacy rate because everyone there has at least completed primary school but that doesn't mean they are educated. Cleanliness has to be taught to children in the family itself and not in school. Also these clean states have less corrupted govt. These states are clean but not because of education but because of proper upbringing and less corruption in their state govt.
Example - Delhi has high literacy rate (higher than Goa, Nagaland, Sikkim that you mentioned and also higher than Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil nadu, Maharashtra) but not clean apart from some areas.
@@krato6468there needs to be big dustbins every 100 meters or so. People have nowhere to throw their rubbish.
@@150pluskph till then we can try to carry our bottles, packets, etc with us instead of throwing it on the road . One problem with dustbins in most cities is cows and dogs take out the garbage from the bins and litter them on the road.
@@HomeS8fe literacy rate is just a number , even educated people don't throw garbage in dustbin because there are very few dustbins and people are lazy.
Sinhala and Hindi are similar language. We understand most of Hindi words. Both from Sanskrit. Our culture , tredition , religion are from Noth India. 2600 years ago thousands of north Indian people and royal families migrated to Sri Lanka. That's the start of Sinhalese community of Sri Lanka

But when I heard Sinhala for the first time I felt like it is more closer to Malayalam. I'm not a Malayalee but when both sounded similar to me.
That's why there is enmity between Sinhalese & Tamils. North Indian vs South Indian going on there too. Aryan vs Dravidian.

Even during the time of crisis, the roads are well maintained, no garbage or littering even in old streets. The govt as well as the people of India should definitely learn from them.

People just throwing things outside car window , on the street etc instead of throwing inside Trash Bin . And if there is no bin you hold on to it until you find one. Don't be fooled by the image building exercises by the Indian govt. The administration will have to send support to needy countries in their proximity to gain the benevolence of other nations.
Meanwhile, it is no secret that more Indians are succumbing to suicides on a daily basis, more patients dying outside hospitals and carrying their dead on their shoulders in towns and villages due to the apathy of doctors and weak infrastructure in the respective states.
Just because India is sending aid does not mean everything is hunky-dory in India. We are scraping the bottom of the barrel here as an under developed nation.

Though we have helped them in this crisis.. The unfortunate part is that the srilankan govt has allowed a Chinese spy ship to dock at one of their ports... That is considered a security threat to us...
Sri lanka is a independent country & does not allow any countries to use our country or waters to spy as our security aparatus is very high as well as our security forces are very intelligent in their duties & every ship that entering must have our experts on board during its stay.As for Chinese ships its the same & we have military experts that moniter well.As for india its our immediate next country & is extremely important to us & any suspicious movements by any ship will immediately be informed to India.We Sri lanken always moniter USA ships as we dont trust them atall.I say this as been a sri lanken armed (retd.)servicemen & given the task to shadow many american top brass during our war & we get rid of them fast too from our country .India must be very careful when dealing with USA as they are trying to get a foothold in southern Asia.So big brother India dont worry,,we are there & we have a very battle hardened forces & after 30 of fighting we are able to call up a massive reserve force(2000000 or more)as we also have cadets,female & male in Sri lanka with good traind knowledge of use of small arms & firing as its a long standing vogue to be a jr.soldier at lest.

But, Sri Lanka betrayed India so many times. Two of them I know, one is in 1970 war ,Sri Lanka supported Pakistan directly and in recent time Sri Lanka helps China giving permission of Chinese surveillance ( reconnaissance in military term) SHIP.
In return India helps them so many times previously and recently too. Sri Lanka back stabbed all the time.
So, We should not be so much sympathetic about their current situation.

It’s sad to see their suffering at the moment, hope the crisis is resolved soon and the corrupt politicians are punished.
