Garbage. There is plenty of room under there for ventilation. Indeed some manufacturers battery cover DO completely enclose the battery. As a safety feature the storage box is excellent, it makes it less likely for a battery short to take place.

The reason for the high price is the cost of international shipping and duties etc. If you are in China then it will be very cheap.

MERCEDES and BMW both cover batteries and nearly every modern motorcycle. It's very common in modern automobiles
don't agree....
The minor inconvenience of taking off the parts covering the battery every 2,3 maybe 4 years is worth it to have the frunk space 🤷🏻
