  • Everdure Furnace gas grills were designed with input from 3-Michelin Star chef Heston Blumenthal, and it shows in every aspect of their construction. These grills are built with die-cast aluminum, which is lightweight and rust-resistant while providing excellent heat retention. While they come on a freestanding cart, what makes Furnace models so awesome is that the grill head can be removed for easy transportation to tailgates or camping trips. In this configuration, the grill weighs about 60 pounds and is narrow enough to fit on the back of a truck bed. Everdure displayed further ingenuity by integrating flame tamers into the enameled cast iron cooking grids, which are positioned just 3 inches above the burners. With fewer parts and a more compact design, the Furnace is able to fully preheat in just five minutes! You can capitalize on that quick and efficient heat with Everdure’s selection of flat plate accessories that make grilling a fun and exciting experience every time you fire up the Furnace.

    I have mine for over 2 years, absolutely love it. Thank you for the review of accessories and how to smoke ribs! If you can make a cleaning video, that would be awesome. Thank you for making this video

    When you smoked the wood chips what burners did you have on/off. And were the wood chips soaked or dry?

    How would you compare this to a Weber Genesis II e-315?

    • @BBQGuys
      @BBQGuys  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      hard to compare as this grill is for more on-the-go type grilling.

  • @777Dorado
    @777Dorado 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah but you have to grill over the tamers wasting alot of grilling in between...thats what I noticed on your demo selective grilling above the tamers.

    • @BBQGuys
      @BBQGuys  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can certainly grill across the whole surface. I was just wanting to spread out what I cooked across the whole grill, so I guess it looks centered over the tamers.

    no vent that closes it fully?

    • @BBQGuys
      @BBQGuys  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, but that is normal for a gas grill. Most gas grills have even more of an opening along the back wall, designed to vent when the lid is closed. I can't think of any gas grills we carry that have a fully closed lid.

    I bought one, its great concept but poorly executed. There are many issues, you can't have all burners on high with the hood down or it warps, the grill plates don't sit on the tabs properly, the slightest bump and they fall off, the heat isn't even across the grill, it has a lot of cold spots, don't buy the rotisserie it's made of cheap folder metal, mines already warped after a single use, it can't be used in the rain and since there isn't a dedicated rotisserie burner and Everdure recommend keeping the grates on food doesn't brown, it just spins around, the grease trap is pointless, the BBQ is flat, grease can't run into the trap, it just sits in the bottom of the BBQ and can ignite, the expensive cover isn't made from water resistant canvas, if it's raining the cover doesn't protect the BBQ, it still gets wet, I BBQ all year round, rain hail or snow, I don't think I will be with with this BBQ, it will be a summer only BBQ.

      I totally agree re the poor design of the tabs for the grill plates - they are heavy and well made, but sit poorly in the BBQ - not what I was expecting for the not insignificant sum this cost. We have only had ours for a couple of days, cooked steak on evening one and lamb rack on evening two. Both turned our much better than our previous 4 burner CADAC of a more traditional gas grill design. The BBQ gets hot, really hot in a relatively short period of time. I am yet experience any warping - but it will be flying back to whence it came, should that be the case!

      @@nathanakers1 they won’t accept any returns for warped lids. Apparently they did earlier then they put a warning in the instructions where it states you can’t have all burners on full with the lid down.

      I love mine (Furnace with 3 burners), although I don't use grills for a rotisserie chicken. Your lid most likely is defective. That's a bummer. I had the grill on a full blast for a long time, multiple times (to burn the food residue), and the lid is as sturdy as new. The plates/grids may fall if you don't space them evenly, which should be installed evenly for the optimum performance. If a woman is capable to figure this out, why a man, who calls himself a MasterChief, can't? Usually, I cook ribeye and NY steaks and they are cooked to a mid-rare, better than at any restaurant. They are ready fast too; the grill takes 3 min to heat up to a max temp shown on thermometer. I even used it today, when there was only 50 F outside and had no issues.

      There is a difference between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 versions of the Force and Furnace, they fixed most of the faults with Gen 2.
      My grill will not heat past 250 degrees, it won’t come even close to 375 which is the max temp on the gauge. It’s will not get hot enough to sear.

    The internal floor of the BBQ under the burners is very flat. I can't see fat running into the grease tray too well. Looks like a cleaning nightmare. I guess Heston has never cleaned a BBQ so his name does nothing to inspire confidence in a good design.

      The grease just sits there until you clean it, there is no greese management, all in all it's a poorly design piece of junk, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
