So well done! Rice in the soda can = brilliant! Please do not ever, ever, EVER be the slightest bit concerned about your little lisp. It is charming! Thanks very much for all of your tutorials--you obviously know your stuff and take the time to think out how to present the steps. I teach quite a bit, so I know how much work you put into developing these lessons. I'm a fan!
Theresa, I have to thank you so much for the way you teach. You speak slowly and you explain so well. You keep your project in the center and it never goes off the middle so we always see what you are doing. I am in the first stages of learning and have made 2 canes now and am excited to learn more. I thank you so much for teaching the bracelet. I have large bones and my wrists are large and if I like a bracelet in the store, I always have to come home and put findings on it to wear it. I can NEVER ever buy a bracelet that slips over my hands. In the 60's and 70's when I was in High School and just out in the work field, I was smaller and very thin and I love buying the bracelets that slip over my hands and I miss them. So, maybe I can make some for me and other ladies that I know have the same issue. Our church has a mission's donation of jewelry and I would love to make some of these and try the square beaded ones too. Thank you so much... I appreciate it so much!!!!!
You are awesome young lady. I have been working with clay and I am in love with it. I so love your videos and lessons and tips. I am 57 and loving this new hobby. I want to enjoy this and not feel the pressure I have in the past with others crafts. Thank you for sharing about that and encouraging me to just enjoy this. I always felt if I didn't make money while married, then I could not do it peacefully. Now, I can...love you girlfriend .
I LIKE YOUR TEACHING STYLE, I LOVE UR PROJECTS, BUT WHAT STRIKES ME MOST IS YOUR BEAUTIFUL SPIRIT, YOU EXUDE WARMTH AND COMPASSION FROM YOUR FACE, AND I SAY AT THE END OF EACH TUTORIAL, THANK YOU LOVELY LADY. LOVE CAMILLE AUSTRALIA
Thanks, Teresa, for a simple, straight-forward tutorial. I like what you said about using a ruler edge or wire hanger (!!!!) to make the channel and about not needing the expensive cutter (even though I would like to one day be able to afford one). Putting the tiles on the strip with the pre-made channels simplified the tile bracelet considerably. Love your soft, chilled-out approach.
Glad I caught this video. You have made making bracelets look pretty easy. I don't make a lot of them, but I think I will now. I just have to find that "exotic contraption" before I begin. LOL. Thank you for demonstrating how to make these beautiful bracelets.
I have watched these over and over and get inspiration every time. I like your positive attitude and the fact that nothing needs to be perfect. Keep up the great information.
Being brand new to polymer clay and of course being very excited to start making projects that don't resemble the (very cute & precious) jewelry projects made for me by my daughter when she was in kindergarten. I have to say that stumbling across your channel on TH-cam has been by far the best to thing to happen to this PC newbie! I just can't Thank You enough for your easy to follow tutorials and thorough explanations! I'm so excited to try this bangle project and now even have high hopes it might actually rival the macaroni bracelet made by my daughter 22 years ago ;-) I will most definitely being going directly over to curious.com following this post to see what other exciting new things that are available there for me to learn as well! I'm very interested in learning to make PC rings (I love large cabochon style rings) so I'm crossing my fingers you have some tutorials already available. Thank You again for showing this newbie how to make these gorgeous and fun bracelets!
I have to gush. I am English so gushing does not come naturally lol. A couple of years ago I watched a few of your videos, but was not ready at that time to introduce polymer clay to my craft work. I am ready now, but couldn't recall your name. I thought, "who was that wonderful woman who made such beautiful clay pieces and taught so clearly?" I just found you! I must complete my gush by saying how pleasant it is to spend time with you on these videos. There you have it. An English woman gushed lol. Thank you for doing these tutorials and I wish you well. Blessings, Sr K 🎀
Thank you, Teressa, there were so many useful tips in this video that I have not seen before, I will sure try to remember them when I am making my own bracelet. I look forward to more of your video's.
Thank you-Thank you; you saved me from quitting on making stretch tile bracelets. I've taken the last two and made the tiles into pendants & earrings because putting the holes for the stretch cord turned out 'wonky'. Now I'm back in business because you showed how to make the channels for the cord on the bottom and put the tiles on top. I'm so glad I watched this video; I kept reading Bangle and didn't click to see that it was also about a Tile bracelet. Keep up the thorough & cascual manner that you make your videos, I really enjoy and learn. Thanks again.
Your videos are so inspiring and easy to understand! I am a total newbie to clay, but I play in all kinds of mediums. I am obsessed with clay right now! Thank you so much for sharing your art!❤️ Stephani
Part 2.... to claying. I was beginning to get discouraged because I'm a little OCD and I needed to hear someone say its ok to not sand...it's ok if you touch your clay...thank you so much...your canes are awesome. Btw I like your hair back, you're very pretty and your jewelry is very pretty on you.
Thank you SO MUCH!! Your artwork is spectacular and your videos are so fun and thorough! I really appreciate you sharing your beauty and talent so others can find their own!
Thank you so much. I am a beginner with Polymer clay and It's great to see such simple instructions. I am also pleased to hear you say I don't have to polish! Regards, Carol
Love your videos. You are a great teacher and I value your tips, tricks and tutorials. I have learned a lot! Keep up the great work - I love watching your tutorials!
I love the color combination in your cane, I'd like to be able to do one like that. Maybe sometime you can do a tutorial on this cane. Thank you so much for your tutorials, they are great.
You are by far my favorite polyclay artist to learn from, you have just the best demeanor and you're so very skilled! Thanks for all that you share with us!
Just starting out... everything being self learned and that was inspirational ! One important thing that you do is state what thickness the clay should be rolled to. If you don't know that from the beginning - then it's pretty hard to complete anything ! so Thank you :-)
I enjoyed your video very much and most of all you humour....I'm gonna try the bangle 'cause it was so easy to make....actually after seeing so many tuts got so confused but this I enjoyed every min of it thank you so so much...! :)
Bernice Seigel thank you! Pre-stretch a 12” of stretch cord. Thread it through the holes. Pull it tight and the tie a surgeons knot. Tuck the knots into the holes.
Teresa, thank you for the wonderful tutorial, I wish you showed how to put it together, do you use a needle to insert the elastic? (like a needle and thread)
Teresa Pandora Salgado I am new to polymer clay...I have a few questions i hope you or someone can answer... First how well does it hold up out doors? and can it be used to make kitchen tiles for a wall or bathroom? and whats the best way to adhere it to the wall? Id appreciate any info anyone has...thank you
Hi Teresa this is Ruth again. How did you cut your tiles in for your black and white tile cuff bracelet? Your tiles have a nice beveled edge not flat. ThanxI love your work!
Thank you, UrCocoaTea. And thank you Erin Blubaugh, Tynetta, Sandra and everyone. Sometimes when I answer your comments the response doesn't appear heer; but please never think I don't appreciate you all very much! :-)
Hi.....My bracelet base sticks to my can.......what can I do to make it easier to come off? If I were to brush on corn starch before putting it on the can work? Thx for your help! :)
Love this! Please tell me how long you bake these, and what clay do you use? I have larger hands, so I think I will have to make an adjustment, but that's okay. Thank you for sharing!
Love the video, but I'm new to this and would love to know what to do after I make the tiles? What's the purpose of the soda can and love how you teach.
Hi, Jane. The tiles are strung together on stretch cord to make bracelets; that's what the parallel channels are for. The soda can is how we make the bangle base. It's 8 and 1/4th inches-exactly the size of a standard bangle. :-)
Talk about math! You had ten tiles on nine inch strip, how big was you cane you cut from? How did you make it come out even? Sorry for the dumb question. Thanks, Mary
Hi Teresa, I love your tutorials and your work. I would like to know: which varnish do you use for your Bracelets? thank you to let me know if you wish. Patricia.
Great video you almost make me think I could do it :P. What would be the best thing to start out making for someone using polymer clay for the first time? Cheers, Mike
The time on the video was 11:23 i wasn't sure why i would put it in a bed or corn starch or baking soda or even out it on card stcok. Im sorry so new to polymer clay and caning.
I went on to curious.com but it was $90 a year. That's not free to me. I also didn't see any polymer clay tutorials in the detailed questions they ask.
I'm sorry. Use Super glue on this one and then next time Be sure you have enough thickness. Also, allow the bracelet to cool completely before removing from can.

You’re wonderful. I love all your jewelry.

What a beautiful cane! I just discovered polymer clay jewelry. I bought some supplies and hope to get started soon.
I have watched these over and over and get inspiration every time. I like your positive attitude and the fact that nothing needs to be perfect. Keep up the great information.
You are always a joy to watch. If I was only half as talented as you I would be a very happy lady!

Hi Mealad. This is the same cane as my "Complex Caning De-mystified" video. Here's a link to all of them. :-)

Can I use PVA glue instead of bake and bond? It's beautiful and easy to make i suppose
chilka kanika yes😀
Thanks a lot because bake and bond is not available in India and online purchase makes it far too costly
Did you do a video on how you made that cane?
Thanks. It just occurred to me one day.
You are the best! Thank you so much!
Thank you Sandra
Thanks; nice and clearly explained.
Thank you!
Teresa Pandora Salgado TFS ~ got a lot of good tips and these turned out so pretty. xx Amy
Hapa Chick I'd love some pix.
Teresa Pandora Salgado Ok, will do!

So glad you enjoyed it.

please please please do you have a video on the purple cane you're using in this video?
yes! it's the same one as the black white and gold one in Polymer Clay Complex Caning De-Mystified.
It,s very nice.
love your videos
Thank you Sandra
Thank you this is awesome.
My pleasure, Debbie. Come see me at curious.com-polymer claydate with pandora
Could you give me an idea of the colors you used?
Thanks so much. I thought of it the same day as the video. I was like...duh! Lol.
So glad you enjoyed it Melissa. Send me pix, ok?
Thanks tattooskin72. It just came to me one day. lol.
Hi Teresa, I love your tutorials and your work. I would like to know: which varnish do you use for your Bracelets? thank you to let me know if you wish.
Patricia.
Hi, Patricia. I use Sculpey Gloss Glaze.
Thanks Teresa. Do you sell your beautifull canes?
Well, no I don't because I use them for projects.
oh my gosh!! thank you! thank you!!! THANK YOU!!!!
Great video you almost make me think I could do it :P. What would be the best thing to start out making for someone using polymer clay for the first time?
Cheers,
Mike
Mike, I start my students with switch plates. There are endless possibilities and its really inexpensive.
Thanks Teresa, I will try that out for sure.
Can you bake the soda can without the rice or will it tip.
Tina Lynn yes, you sure can.
why are you putting the first bracelet in corn starch or baking soda? I don't understand this reference.
juwel201 that will prevent a flat shiny edge. It will insulate the bangle from the hot surface.
U have to bake these a second time right? Why do u say to put the first ine in corn startch?
Kristie Sutton I’m not sure which part you mean.
The time on the video was 11:23 i wasn't sure why i would put it in a bed or corn starch or baking soda or even out it on card stcok. Im sorry so new to polymer clay and caning.
