N sane trilogy is harder because of Stormy Ascent and slight buffs to bosses
@@dp-g5i But the first level is controlled with the dpad, and you have no idea how clunky that is
@ILikeElectricity And ALL gems require no deaths in PS1 Crash 1, as opposed to only coloured gems in N. Sane Trilogy, along with the game overs causing progress deduction
@@SandaaaGW2 Yeah I played that on an emulator and the only gem I got was in Boulders
N Sane Trilogy's physics are a tiny bit harder because of a rounded hitbox (although anyone who's played enough of both knows that it's mega overblown)
Crash 1 on PS1 fuckin sucked though, especially for 100%.
Listen, the story is crash is a lab animal evolved into his current form by cortex like the other animal bosses such as Koala, Ripper, and Pinstripe. Crash fled from cortex's castle so cortex is holding another of his creations, tawna, hostage to force crash to come back to the castle with the hopes of recontaining and continuing studies and training on him.
I’ve got platinum trophies on Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring. I can honestly tell you that the original Crash Bandicoot is harder than all of them. I will never put myself through the hell of trying to 100% that game. For anyone that’s done it, well done.
I have done crash 1 (PS1) at 100%, but a don't believe I can do all those games you have done

@@fdcrash7644 Hats off to you my friend! It could be Crash just frustrates me more, whereas overcoming difficulties in the Souls games just feels more rewarding. It took a mental toll on me just beating Crash 1 lol, I can’t imagine trying to get all the time relics.

@@thehakiguy7006 Some people say that Crash is the Platform version of Dark Souls :v . But yes, I have all Relics on N. Sane Trilogy (only platinum cuz thats the way I can show my love for crash games xD)

Fun Fact: Josh Mancell the composer of Crash Bandicoot games on PS1, also compose for Jak and Daxter series on PS2 as well as the children's animated show, Clifford the big red dog (2000) tv series (my favorite childhood show as a little kid).

Weird that it seems like WumpaLewis getting the NST Platinum Relics has somehow caused the whole crash community and more to play NST/PS1 Trilogy again, with more and more people attempting the hardest challenges! Also, if you complete Crash 1, PLEASE play Crash 2 and 3, they're a lot fairer than PS1 Crash 1 with the gems and checkpoints, and are great games to play as expansions from the first game
Also, if you want the ULTIMATE rage series, attempt PS1 Crash 3's gold/platinum relics, it's also a great and fun full-on challenge. Anyway, good luck with The High Road!
The only time I ever played Crash Bandicoot was in 2018 when I went through Uncharted 4

Crash 1 is one of my all time favourites. Even if I’ve only played the N sane version
Its hard to believe that you will be playing the og because in crash 1, the only checkpoints between levels are when you complete the bonus level. If you gave over you go back to the level you last completed the bonus on

Brio tokens are used to access bonus levels also but they are made to be harder than the tauna ones

Finally I was hoping for this for a really long time.
I grew up with CTR and didn't know crash bandicoot had other games.
I remember playing this game and the second one in the early 2000s the nostalgia is crazy right now
I do too have played crash bandicoot, but I haven't seen more gameplay other than past the first boss guy
