Love real trees but because of the cost due to drought, we got a faux tree for the fist time in my life. I miss the smell of a real tree & making a traction with my kids when they were little. Also, congratulations on baby number 2! Next year do a kid friendly tree, with felt, wood, metal and other natural things would be awesome. It encourages the joy of Christmas for the child & not always to look like a manicured adult tree.
I think Tyler will do it!🎉 I would like to try a real tree but I don’t believe I will be able to breath. I kinda need to do that😂 Congratulations on baby Brody. I hadn’t watched for a minute so I thought I was seeing an old video 🤗 Blessings to your growing family! 🙏🏽 I love decorating for Christmas and I gained a couple ideas! The comic relief was worth it all. Y’all are a hoot together 😂
I love a real tree but in the past I’ve had family members that have been allergic so I do a faux tree and switch it up every few years if possible. This year I want to do a real tree & add my own snow. I am prepping my home to decorate early this year because hello ❄️ Kinwoven aka Sharrah aka Beckie has inspired me to do so 🤗
Always faux trees indoor cause all the real growing trees are surrounding my house and the front outdoor tree is always decorated too! I'm sure your hubby will do a good job as he's been your helper!
Real trees smell so good!!! I grew up with real trees every year and we would pick them out as a family with pics and all. So fun! This year I'm doing both inside. First time doing two trees in my own home.
In Germany, expecially in Bavaria where I live, most people get a natural tree. You will see, that you have to create new principles for a natural tree. Looking forward ...
Love your style and that you used what you already had on hand. I really enjoyed this video with the candor of both of you, that you brought Tyler in and the fun you had decorating together. He had good humor about it and the interview with the crocheted tree was the icing on the video! Good job my friend. 🥰🎄
I love an artificial tree because I spend weeks decorating & leave it up till Jan/Feb to enjoy when winter is so dark. My new husband & his kids have always done a real tree cut from the mountains and kid decorated. I’m half cringing at how bad it will look & half looking forward to the experience of going into the forest & decorating with kids. They’re in their teens and will only be interested for another year or two; so I’m going to embrace it. Then, in a couple of years, I get to do pretty trees again! Win-Win…
When I was younger, I would get a real tree but I guess I have become lazier or more practical 😆 and now use a faux tree. It’s so much easier to set up and put away and less messy plus now they have those pine scented sticks you can hang on the tree to have the scent of a real tree 😜so I really don’t miss having a real one.
I can vouch for Balsam Hill trees I bought one in summer of 2016 and it has been my best purchase . With my health issues I just wish I had got on with lights.
What a fun video. So glad you are working hard still by taking care of your sweet baby and get some needed rest. Merry Christmas! The tree turned out great!
Loved the white fluff stuck in Tylers stubble..which neither of you noticed/removed during the interview 🤣. I hope you will still find it magical at Christmas..decorating in October 😱. You know November would have been fine. When your kids are older you will want to put up some Halloween decorations to make it fun for THEM (at least I hope you will, even though Halloween is not your asthetic. I put the Halloween decor up on the 30th Oct and take them down on the 1st of November so the kids have fun for Halloween, but I only have to bear looking at the bright orange and black colour stuff for 48hrs). Also let the kids have fun with decorating the Christmas tree... it is magical decorating as a family and letting the kids choose.. I have 3 lots of decor 1) traditional red, green and gold, 2) Scandinavian natural wood, white, silver and 3) colourful and fun (the kids have collected an ornament each year since they were 2yrs old. Always depicting what they were in to eg a digger, dinosaur, plane, skilift, etc. They can take their specialglass ornaments with them when they leave home). In Europe we use glass ornaments. We collect over years. The special ones are hand-blown and they cost up to 25 dollars. We teach our kids from babies to not touch or to be careful. The first glass ornaments they hang are the cheap simple glass balls, so if they break them it doesn't matter. I always corrected any that were to heavy for a branch or not on the branch properly. The time kids want to help, especially boys, is not that many years and the time flies past quickly.. so enjoy the "not-so-perfect, not asthetically pleasing" trees for the few years the kids enjoy decorating with you🤗 because it does not last ☹️.. Tip from a mum of two boys aged 17 and 10!
Where's your Miami Dolphin's ornament??? Funny how Pete makes these videos in some way. So funny! Great job Tyler! Terrific Christmas look, as always! COCO!
I really love the train, my son is 3 and we are doing a colourful lights Christmas this year, we purchased those twinkle lights but with the traditional colours, i liked your ribbons from last year but other than that I love all the little animals and the wooden garland is gorgeous.
Awww this is so fun and adorable...you a outlet of great tea hers Tyler and your a great student..A+ for the decorating the trees you certainly have passes it..seriously it looks great and I love how they all worked out...hope you be able to find baby Jesus under a piece of furniture soon...love the style and tips and I need to find some twinkling fairy lights too...can you buy them from ikea...? Fresh trees are beautiful and your house will smell of pine but you'll have pin needles all over the place as it starts to age...merry Christmas to your beautiful family of 4...🙏🎄💙💖😘🥰👨👩👧👦
Real tree for me but I also do a few artificial one too. Just get a small one to start just make sure you get a stand that holds enough water. It will drink a lot in the first few days and get a fresh cut beforehand
Love love love your natural garland ( in last video) thanks for the tip that I could find them at Kirkland’s . They have been out of stock, but came in today, so got some ON SALE👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. How many did you use over doors and mantel? Going to order the cool bells you used as well! LOVE YOUR PAINT as well, is there a video where you share the paint names? Love you and your sweet family, you are truly blessed by GOD!
That was fun! It's reel life watching. A huge hats off to your staff and Tyler for their decorating. We've been married 38 years and only had a real tree one of those. I think real trees are so pretty but the cost and the mess have stopped me.
You have such a precious family. I love watching your interactions; your humor and laughter is great! I love real trees but I decorate the day after Thanksgiving and in South Georgia it is still hot so fresh trees are not so good. Is that tree plastic? Rebecca’s branches look similar to yours. Tyler and the elves did a good job on your tree!
I prefer a faux tree because it's easier to keep up with them. Also the asthma would be heavily triggered as would some allergies. Also I kind of liked Tyler's attempt with the pick at the beginning lol. Lastly that Q &A was great, I love when you guys do your silly moments.
Hello I just discovered your channel and love your style of decorating! Everything looks beautiful! I also tried your link for the star tree topper; however, it doesn’t seem to work. Do you have more info on the star, please? Thanks so much!
Great job teaching your husband, it turned out great! Can you tell me what camera you use for your videos? I am starting my channel and I want to do it the right way
I grew up with trees that had been cut down, had to be watered daily, always dropped their needles everywhere, scratched and poked you to the point of sometimes bleeding (depending on the variety of tree 😬😢😡) and had permanent positions of branches with no wiggle room, or branches too flimsy to hold heavier ornaments. In 1990 I moved into my then roommate’s house and I bought a “forever tree” I could use year after year without all the maintenance and the added ease of maneuvering branches for perfect decorating. I do miss the smell of the cut trees but the ease of rearranging the positioning of random branches for the perfect placement of ornaments and the minimal maintenance of fluffing branches more than makes up for all the challenges and annoyances of a cut tree. Plus I feel the decades I’ve had my first “forever tree” (still to this day) is more environmentally friendly than cutting down living trees. Clearly I’m a fan of “forever trees”. However, I have been known to get a pine wreath and go through the maintenance of misting it every day and picking up pine needles to get that fresh pine fragrance... but tend to get the wreath closer to Christmas day because they don’t last long. I’m a big fan of decorating for Christmas at the beginning of the holiday season. To me, the holiday season starts with Halloween, so bring on the Christmas decor starting on November 1st and take your time and thoroughly enjoy putting up your gorgeous festive decor. Then relax and savor the beauty, sparkle and Christmas spirit all season long! ✨🎄💗🎄✨ For all those “Thanksgiving decor” fans who fervently frown at my personal choice to decorate for Christmas at the early days of the holiday season, rest assured I can easily create an autumnal tablescape for Thanksgiving amidst all the Christmas sparkle around my home, by adding some white or glass pumpkins, pinecones and silver leaves. But generally I’m more than thankful for my beautiful Holiday Season aka Christmas decor and it doesn’t bother me a bit to use my gold, silver and crystal (“neutral”) decor for Thanksgiving. I would never use autumnal oranges and yellows in my home anyway... as it just doesn’t work with my aesthetic. “Forever trees” are 100% my preference, as is enjoying the holiday season decorations for as long as possible... but as with most things in life, to each their own! 🎄🎄🎄
I love both real & faux trees for different reasons. Real because…it’s real…the scent, it’s authentic…there’s nothing like a real tree. But nothing makes a mess like a real tree either…& watering it constantly is a pain. Putting the lights on can also be a pain…literally. Also if you don’t buy a quality tree it won’t last long no matter how much you keep up with watering it. Faux trees…I love to put them up the day after Thanksgiving & take them down after January 6, the Epiphany. The pluses are that the lights are already on, you don’t need to water, you know it will last but it doesn’t smell like a real tree. They both have positives & negatives. But either way…it’s Christmas…a season of joy, a time to count your blessings & be grateful.
Also, I asked this last year and maybe the year before since u found the large star at hobby lobby. please please can u show us how Tyler attached it to the tree?!!!!
Super FUN idea to have Tyler earn his doctorate degree 🎓(enrolled 8 years) in Christmas Tree decorating. You see, KinWoven is REELY into Christmas. They even have the doormat to prove it. PS. Like the amusement parks, you have to be this tall to enter. Amazing isn't it? He thinks it was just his pretty face. 🤣 One more thing... I think you may have a nativity with FOUR wise men. Perhaps the fourth KNOWS where to look?
My husband, kids and I get a real tree every year. My young adult daughter says she will not participate in decorating a faux tree lol. My young adult son said to me last year as we were decorating the tree: "We are decorating the tree, but when no one is looking Mom will redecorate the tree." Hahahaha...I didn't realize they knew that!!!
I have to have my real tree 🌲 So before thanksgiving I decorate a few small fake Christmas 🎄 and the Sunday after thanksgiving we go to the tree farm to cut our real one
Faux tree for me - but only because I will have an allergic sneezing fit around the real ones (they smell so lovely though that sans allergies I’d have to say real)
Tyler needs his own show. He does all the work. 😂
This was THE best video! I laughedddd! Loved the tall thing and hiding his ornaments! Sawyer and the train! Loved it
Your husband is adorable. Nice he helps you so much! My husband leaves the decorating to me, but he does have great input!
Christmas is so special with little ones . Enjoy your time with them !
Shout out from NC. Love the channel hunny, y’all two are so cute, love seeing the littles as well. Love & prayers🙏💜
Adding layers. Just like a cake 😆 I'm going to remember that when I decorate my tree! Tree cake... 👀
You guys are so cute together!! You can tell you guys have a lot of fun and are so much in love❤❤
I loved the interview at the end the best. Good laugh.

😅Tyler is hilarious I was crying when he threw that pick like a dart 🎯 thank you for the great video
I think Tyler will do it!🎉
I would like to try a real tree but I don’t believe I will be able to breath. I kinda need to do that😂
Congratulations on baby Brody. I hadn’t watched for a minute so I thought I was seeing an old video 🤗 Blessings to your growing family! 🙏🏽

The comic relief was worth it all. Y’all are a hoot together 😂
Tyler the tree looks wonderful & congrats on the beautiful baby! sawyer is really growing up, so cute!
I love a real tree but in the past I’ve had family members that have been allergic so I do a faux tree and switch it up every few years if possible. It turned out beautiful! Great job Tyler!
I like real trees but the faux ones are very convenient to decorate in advance.
Loved the Q&A part of the video! 😁
Love your style and that you used what you already had on hand. I really enjoyed this video with the candor of both of you, that you brought Tyler in and the fun you had decorating together. He had good humor about it and the interview with the crocheted tree was the icing on the video! Good job my friend. 🥰🎄
Love the awkwardness between you too. So cute! Made me laugh so much!
I grew up with live Christmas trees. So, REAL, REAL, REAL is what I like more than artificial.
You look absolutely beautiful!!
I love an artificial tree because I spend weeks decorating & leave it up till Jan/Feb to enjoy when winter is so dark. What a fun video. So glad you are working hard still by taking care of your sweet baby and get some needed rest. Merry Christmas! The tree turned out great!
They have pine scent sticks for the tree, I love using them!
I noticed you stopped using the ornament spinners!! I love those!
What a lovely family. The tree looks great
I always had natural tree for Christmas! 🎄
Beautiful Sharrah/Tyler/Team Scandi! AND Love, love, love the sound quality!
Just adorable ending!!
The tree looks beautiful, and you guys look so happy! Enjoy your holidays.
Beautiful as always! At our home, is always REAL trees... we cut it ourselves in the mountains!
Your tree turned out beautiful. Congratulations on the addition of Brody.
Loved the white fluff stuck in Tylers stubble..which neither of you noticed/removed during the interview 🤣.

You did a wonderful job Tyler. Plus Shara is a great teacher.

Trop drôle je vous aime xx
You guys are so cute.
Great job teaching your husband, it turned out great!

What brand of spinners do you use ?
Love you and your husband decorating together.
"He did eat baby Jesus"😂😂😂

Love real trees, however fake trees are less messy and cost efficient in my opinion. Lol
The tree looks realistic. Do you spray a pine scent to have that Christmas tree smell?
Where did u get ur star 🌟
Also, I asked this last year and maybe the year before since u found the large star at hobby lobby. please please can u show us how Tyler attached it to the tree?!!!!
I attached a wooden dowel to the back of the star and then used zip ties to secure it to the tree
Would love to know where you got your trees.

Hello
Greetings from San Antonio, Texas.
Love the white walls. Can you please let me know the Name of Color. I truly appreciate it.
Thank you so much.
How about next year, your mom decorates your home and you hers?!
Faux tree for me - but only because I will have an allergic sneezing fit around the real ones (they smell so lovely though that sans allergies I’d have to say real)
You do know I wear Velcro shoes 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Can you share the link to the train?
