These are the best tips available anywhere. If only I had known them when starting. 600 hours in and I'm still learning from T7 PDM, especially tip #11 is new to me. For the new players, believe T7 when he says that Epic (purple) is better than Legendary (gold). However, Epic requires more tuning and thought than Legendary, for a bigger payoff. Legendary gear is like writing a check for a new Mustang 5.0 liter V8. Great car, turn the key and go. Epic gear is like blueprinting a motor in your garage, adding a supercharger, and dropping it into a Corvette body. More effort, more benefit. Different players, different approaches. Nothing wrong with buying the Nemean Lion set but steal its engravings to put them on tailored Epic gear. Best of both worlds. The bow glitch is a must-have, now only 10 days old. XP farms are forgotten, old and busted. The bow glitch is the new hotness, delivered to us by T7 PDM.
@@danielcorcoran5562 Legendary items also the weapons have bad engravings. There is not a single perfect legendary sword in the game. You need to have warrior damage, damage with swords and crit damage. Other weapons are similar. The big majority of melee weapons suck, there is only a few exceptions that fulfill the required engravings. And maybe 2-3 bows.
@ElevenBravo Dont upgrade or use legendary gear. You will run out of materials and money, use epics with better combinations of engravings. They’re lots of AC Odyssey Build videos out there. But I like the “Greek Hero” set. That gives you melee and range resistance. So you can be a tank. And use the Spear that gives you 100% Damage to give you more offense. Fire element gives you more damage. Good luck Cheers 🍻
If you get the “Greek Hero” set, you can be invincible. Having the Melee and Range resistance on you’ll be a tank. You can put points to “Ignore damage” also. Use the Spear that gives you 100% Damage as secondary to give you extra damage. Make sure to boost your elemental resistance cause you can still die from fire or poison. Cheers 🍻
Better to use the Sword Of Yuminess, gives +250% all damage types but disables abilities. If you can't be harmed, don't need the abilities, just a staff or spear to damag multiple enemies at a time

I have seen many videos for the past 5 days but yours has been far better than everyone else's. This is exactly what I needed to play it better than I played last time 1.5 years back before I realized I could have played it much better. For example I ignored the engravings and weapon and armor upgrades at first which was foolish of me and I didnt optimise my abilities especially recruiting lieutenants and utilizing different arrows. Some of it I discovered on my own as good as anybody else but I had to see a lot of videos and fandom wiki to get to the bottom of it but I got a lot of useful info seeing your video. Like equipping Epic gear instead of legendary. I also noticed it gave 3 attributes instead of 2 from legendary but was not sure of using it. I also agree that you should never ever dismantle your gear and must always sell it as you get better yield. Only one thing I need from you is how to unlock Hephaistos' Workshop. I dont know how to unlock it. Thanks and I have subsribed. After watching all the videos you are the only one I have subscribed to

Zachary, you are spot-on. So many YT posters push click bait, with dramatic photos of themselves looking astonished. Then their video is all about themselves, how great they are before they move on to another hyped up video. It's all for the clicks. T7 PDM is different, he teaches everyone how to duplicate his results. That's caused a revolution in AC Odyssey, as new players are reaching levels beyond what we could a year ago. Any build video you see that's a year old has been completely superseded. T7 PDM is the top expert on builds. DarkStrider has helpful videos on Orichalcum and the Oikos and deserves credit for helping the community.
Good tips My focus build was always stealth damage, and god it feels so good to kill 5 mercenaries with just one ability like the spear you throw to up 5 targets

Hey man! Ur vids are totally goat, really! Been using ur Nemean Lion builds (currently lvl 65) and my dmg went up 3 or 4x what it was before! Anyway, I just started the Atlantis DLC, do u have any guide/walkthrough of the locations where u can get the 60 extra points? Tyyy
This Guides4Gamers site has maps of Greece/Elysium/Underworld/Atlantis. guides4gamers.com/assassins-creed-odyssey/map/world-map/ Each tomb in Greece and each statue of Persephone in Elysium will give you a level. Knocking over a statue of Persephone with 3 guards is about as difficult at taking out a Spartan camp of 3-4 soldiers in Greece. Yet you get a level in Elysium and 1/20th enough XP in Greece. In general, Elysium and Atlantis are more level-earning-rich than Greece. My advice to all the new guys who went through every Greece tomb and got all Cultists and are now grinding through quests to get XP is: 1) Buy the DLC when it comes on sale (Ultimate edition cost me $42 for all DLC on Black Friday), go through it all without grinding, then do New Game Plus as the opposite character (Alexios vs. Kassandra) and make good choices to get the Spartan Javelin and keep your family alive. Go with Brasidas's plan for the Monger. You will have plenty of ability points. After 10-12 points per Ability buffed, the value of Ability points diminishes greatly. They don't make nearly as much difference as good gear. You will have a blast with NG+, much less grinding and bosses go down with 2-3 arrows or one overpower attack.

Its worth for getting 80 ability points from locations for every NG+ and you can recollect all your legendary items on max level. XP is just a side effect, you get so many points from locations like tombs and Atlantis.

I'm at level 41 right now and when I go back into the option menu, the new game plus does not show up. I went back through my update history and saw where the update for the new game plus was installed. how can I get the new game plus now? all area's are marked with there default levels.

I like a lot swords, with them i starter and played until i reached lvl 30... But i feel that swords was not enough agaist heavy armour, heavy shield and animals, i kill animals faster with Spears, but versus multiple enemys with Spears i move... Slower... I mean... Spears keep a safe distance, but Slower atack, SOOO... can you suggest ME another weapon, not spear, not sword? @@liviumo6214 Use swords and copy ony of the the swords builds. Get 100% Critchance. There is no reason that you deal more daamge with a spear other than you messed up your gear. Spears are the worst weapon. Light attack sucks, Overpower totally sucks, only the heavy attack is good.
Get damage with swords on your weapons, use two swords and use damage with swords on your helmet. The highest damage in the game can only be achieved by using swords.
There's a tradeoff on melee weapons. At one end is daggers, which do little damage per hit but hit rapidly. At the other end is Heavy weapons, with lots of damage but hit slower. The sweet spot appears to be somewhere between swords and spears, with either of them working for me. Swords are easier to find engravings for "Damage with Swords" to achieve a total of 140%. That's the maximum and it makes a big difference as it multiplies times the weapon's base damage. It's harder to get to 140% with Spears, usually 110% to 130% for me with a tanky, balanced build. Whatever weapon you pick, try to get two of the same one. The reason is that a perfect (sword, for example) weapon has "Damage with Swords (spears/ staffs, bladed, etc.)" and crit damage engraved on it. If you have two perfect swords, their "Damage with swords" applies to each other, doubling the effect. I prefer swords over spears but spears do two things for me: 1) paired with the Spartan Javelin, I have two perfect spears which amplify "Damage with spears", 2) They poke animals like bobcats that would otherwise get close enough to bite me and they poke soldiers in Conquest battles who would otherwise close in and I can't parry at all. That being said, if you have a 105% Melee Resistant build then animals and soldiers can't hurt you. You mentioned shields and I agree, heavy weapons break through them. But you can handle shields with swords either by: 1) Use shield breaker ability, 2) Do a heavy attack with sword. It will stagger the soldier, he twists around his shield, then a regular sword strike takes him out.
There is an ability in the assassin tree, which is entirely useless since all pots are refilled after a few minutes and resources are infinite. There is zero reason to use it in this game.

I had no idea about the every ten levels gets the engrave up a tier. Does that apply for the ones we put on it too (if its unlocked) or do we still have to pay for that engrave separately when we level up gear?
No, your own engraving will not update, you have to unlock them and re-engrave the higher tier. These engravings can also be higher than what the item usually has. Meaning 20% Crit chance on a level 55 item can be engraved if you unlocked it.
@@mady8277 Its true. Epic builds are far better, you lose 5 engravings compoared to epics. And most legendary sets really suck anyway with tons of useless engravings and crap bonuses. Thats why I mostly make epic builds, the only exception is the Nemean Lion set, the best legendary set out of all the crap.

@@T7PDM the nemean lion set is for warrior crit build but its ugly, theres another one, the most OP of all legendary gear and weapon set, its the ezio gear and weapon set. lol, in the past we have the unlimited charged heavy attacks then unlimited overpower attacks, now we have unlimited hero strike attacks + its also the highest crit chance and damage build for legendary gear set, only using the whole set give me 90% crit chance when full health paired with one epic bow with 10 % crit chance, there u have it, perfect 100 % crit chance when full health and 600+ crit damage while full health, another worth mentioning legendary gear and weapon set is the helios gear set + the bow, the gear set give 200 % damage buff when on fire, the bow give 600 % adrenaline gain when parrying but it will make u on fire, the whole gear set give 70 or 75 % elemental resist + using 40 % fire resist legendary engraving on ur torso make u 100 % resist against fire, so no longer taking damage when on fire while gaining the 200 % damage buff and 600 % adrenaline gains, paired with crit hit chance while full health and crit hit chance engravings i get 90 % crit hit chance while full health and 300+ crit damage while full health. only those 2 legendary gears are worth buying. but theres others thats not good but cool as looks, like the pegasos pack, the herakles pack, the ikaros pack and the myrmidon pack. all those packs stated in this comment are worth buying (except the ezio, its free), the rest can be neglected. edit : the ezio set i forgot to mention i use engravings to reach 90 % crit chance and damage as well, all while full health, but yeah, for legendary set, its the most ridiculously OP one, almost as good as epic, almost.

There is no mission for it, you can simply go and loot these chests in every region all across greece. They reset after a conquest battle, when you win the battle for either side. They also reset if you do not participate in the battle, and the nations change naturally in every region after some hours.
Did you really understand what crit chance means and how it works, dude? There is an engraving for 100% crit damage at full health, not for the chance.
Dismantling thousands of weapons on lvl 99. You can get 150 Orichalcum per week, dude, the game is out for 1 and a half years. I played the game for 1500 hours. I am TH-camr, I use real money to buy things fast, not relying on luck from the gifts. I know people who still have 3000 Orichalcum.

It is very very simple, you go to a blacksmith you have not been before, save before you talk to him, then talk to him two times, check both inventories and if nothing is there, then reload your save. Everybody can do it, if not, then the problem is not your game.
I am confuse about tip 19, so if i have lvl 99 and I start a new game i will have to do all the missions from the begining but all my gear will not be lose and i'll still have it in my inventory at maximum level? Please respond...
At level 50+ you can get 100% crit chance, there is a level 55 build pinned at the top of the channel, this is your blueprint to get all this crazy stuff. Keep all the good epic gear until you are getting closer to max level, you will need it. Only dismantle the rubbish ones, check the dismantling guide for reference. With some modifications (placing the crit chance last on your gear) you can basically copy any of these builds at level 50 and beyond. Some require unique items and engravings, make sure to get them all an do not dismantle them There are unique gear guides part 1 & 2 on the channel homepage, Just check the entire miscelleaneous tipps playlist, if you need help join the discord, but make sure you get all the tipps first, that will answer most of your questions.

I am lvl 19. What should I do with items epic and legendary items that are lower level then my character ? I keep getting new stuff but they are not always higher tier. Should i skip those items and keep the higher tier ones ?

Ahmed Ibrahim the Falx of Olympos. Gives you 100% damage but your life is reduced to 25%. If you don’t have it, you haven’t found it yet. Good luck.

Hephaistos is unlocked at Level 50. You get an ingame message popping up when you reach that level.

Then their video is all about themselves, how great they are before they move on to another hyped up video. It's all for the clicks. T7 PDM is different, he teaches everyone how to duplicate his results. That's caused a revolution in AC Odyssey, as new players are reaching levels beyond what we could a year ago. Any build video you see that's a year old has been completely superseded. T7 PDM is the top expert on builds. DarkStrider has helpful videos on Orichalcum and the Oikos and deserves credit for helping the community.

Hey man! Ur vids are totally goat, really! Been using ur Nemean Lion builds (currently lvl 65) and my dmg went up 3 or 4x what it was before! Anyway, I just started the Atlantis DLC, do u have any guide/walkthrough of the locations where u can get the 60 extra points? Tyyy
Just do all the locations, in Elysium they are all on the ground.
This Guides4Gamers site has maps of Greece/Elysium/Underworld/Atlantis. guides4gamers.com/assassins-creed-odyssey/map/world-map/ Each tomb in Greece and each statue of Persephone in Elysium will give you a level. Knocking over a statue of Persephone with 3 guards is about as difficult at taking out a Spartan camp of 3-4 soldiers in Greece. Yet you get a level in Elysium and 1/20th enough XP in Greece. In general, Elysium and Atlantis are more level-earning-rich than Greece. My advice to all the new guys who went through every Greece tomb and got all Cultists and are now grinding through quests to get XP is: 1) Buy the DLC when it comes on sale (Ultimate edition cost me $42 for all DLC on Black Friday), go through it all without grinding, then do New Game Plus as the opposite character (Alexios vs. Kassandra) and make good choices to get the Spartan Javelin and keep your family alive. Go with Brasidas's plan for the Monger. You will have plenty of ability points. After 10-12 points per Ability buffed, the value of Ability points diminishes greatly. They don't make nearly as much difference as good gear. You will have a blast with NG+, much less grinding and bosses go down with 2-3 arrows or one overpower attack.

Its worth for getting 80 ability points from locations for every NG+ and you can recollect all your legendary items on max level. XP is just a side effect, you get so many points from locations like tombs and Atlantis.

I'm at level 41 right now and when I go back into the option menu, the new game plus does not show up. I went back through my update history and saw where the update for the new game plus was installed. how can I get the new game plus now? all area's are marked with there default levels.

Not maybe, they are, spears are the worst weapon to play with. Almost everything except the charged heavy attack sucks on spears.

@@liviumo6214 Use swords and copy ony of the the swords builds. Get 100% Critchance. There is no reason that you deal more daamge with a spear other than you messed up your gear. Spears are the worst weapon. Light attack sucks, Overpower totally sucks, only the heavy attack is good.
Get damage with swords on your weapons, use two swords and use damage with swords on your helmet. The highest damage in the game can only be achieved by using swords.
There's a tradeoff on melee weapons. At one end is daggers, which do little damage per hit but hit rapidly. At the other end is Heavy weapons, with lots of damage but hit slower. The sweet spot appears to be somewhere between swords and spears, with either of them working for me. Swords are easier to find engravings for "Damage with Swords" to achieve a total of 140%. That's the maximum and it makes a big difference as it multiplies times the weapon's base damage. It's harder to get to 140% with Spears, usually 110% to 130% for me with a tanky, balanced build. Whatever weapon you pick, try to get two of the same one. The reason is that a perfect (sword, for example) weapon has "Damage with Swords (spears/ staffs, bladed, etc.)" and crit damage engraved on it. If you have two perfect swords, their "Damage with swords" applies to each other, doubling the effect. I prefer swords over spears but spears do two things for me: 1) paired with the Spartan Javelin, I have two perfect spears which amplify "Damage with spears", 2) They poke animals like bobcats that would otherwise get close enough to bite me and they poke soldiers in Conquest battles who would otherwise close in and I can't parry at all. That being said, if you have a 105% Melee Resistant build then animals and soldiers can't hurt you. You mentioned shields and I agree, heavy weapons break through them. But you can handle shields with swords either by: 1) Use shield breaker ability, 2) Do a heavy attack with sword. It will stagger the soldier, he twists around his shield, then a regular sword strike takes him out.

There is an ability in the assassin tree, which is entirely useless since all pots are refilled after a few minutes and resources are infinite. There is zero reason to use it in this game.

I had no idea about the every ten levels gets the engrave up a tier.
Does that apply for the ones we put on it too (if its unlocked) or do we still have to pay for that engrave separately when we level up gear?
No, your own engraving will not update, you have to unlock them and re-engrave the higher tier. These engravings can also be higher than what the item usually has. Meaning 20% Crit chance on a level 55 item can be engraved if you unlocked it.

@@mady8277 Its true. Epic builds are far better, you lose 5 engravings compoared to epics. And most legendary sets really suck anyway with tons of useless engravings and crap bonuses. Thats why I mostly make epic builds, the only exception is the Nemean Lion set, the best legendary set out of all the crap.

@@T7PDM the nemean lion set is for warrior crit build but its ugly, theres another one, the most OP of all legendary gear and weapon set, its the ezio gear and weapon set. lol, in the past we have the unlimited charged heavy attacks then unlimited overpower attacks, now we have unlimited hero strike attacks + its also the highest crit chance and damage build for legendary gear set, only using the whole set give me 90% crit chance when full health paired with one epic bow with 10 % crit chance, there u have it, perfect 100 % crit chance when full health and 600+ crit damage while full health, another worth mentioning legendary gear and weapon set is the helios gear set + the bow, the gear set give 200 % damage buff when on fire, the bow give 600 % adrenaline gain when parrying but it will make u on fire, the whole gear set give 70 or 75 % elemental resist + using 40 % fire resist legendary engraving on ur torso make u 100 % resist against fire, so no longer taking damage when on fire while gaining the 200 % damage buff and 600 % adrenaline gains, paired with crit hit chance while full health and crit hit chance engravings i get 90 % crit hit chance while full health and 300+ crit damage while full health. only those 2 legendary gears are worth buying. but theres others thats not good but cool as looks, like the pegasos pack, the herakles pack, the ikaros pack and the myrmidon pack. all those packs stated in this comment are worth buying (except the ezio, its free), the rest can be neglected.
edit : the ezio set i forgot to mention i use engravings to reach 90 % crit chance and damage as well, all while full health, but yeah, for legendary set, its the most ridiculously OP one, almost as good as epic, almost.

You have to wait a day or two. use another one in the meantime.There are three locations with double blacksmith: Tegea, Partai and Argos.

There is no mission for it, you can simply go and loot these chests in every region all across greece. They reset after a conquest battle, when you win the battle for either side. They also reset if you do not participate in the battle, and the nations change naturally in every region after some hours.

How did you get so much obsidian glass and orichalcum?
Dismantling thousands of weapons on lvl 99. You can get 150 Orichalcum per week, dude, the game is out for 1 and a half years. I played the game for 1500 hours. I am TH-camr, I use real money to buy things fast, not relying on luck from the gifts. I know people who still have 3000 Orichalcum.

It is very very simple, you go to a blacksmith you have not been before, save before you talk to him, then talk to him two times, check both inventories and if nothing is there, then reload your save. Everybody can do it, if not, then the problem is not your game.

Is it worth it to be making these crazy builds at low levels like 40-50 if you cant find the right gear or wait tell I'm level 90+
At level 50+ you can get 100% crit chance, there is a level 55 build pinned at the top of the channel, this is your blueprint to get all this crazy stuff. Keep all the good epic gear until you are getting closer to max level, you will need it. Only dismantle the rubbish ones, check the dismantling guide for reference. With some modifications (placing the crit chance last on your gear) you can basically copy any of these builds at level 50 and beyond. Some require unique items and engravings, make sure to get them all an do not dismantle them There are unique gear guides part 1 & 2 on the channel homepage, Just check the entire miscelleaneous tipps playlist, if you need help join the discord, but make sure you get all the tipps first, that will answer most of your questions.

I am lvl 19. What should I do with items epic and legendary items that are lower level then my character ? I keep getting new stuff but they are not always higher tier. Should i skip those items and keep the higher tier ones ?
