Richard Rudd

Richard Rudd is a renowned poet, mystic, and teacher. After earning a Master’s Degree in metaphysics and literature from Edinburgh University, he worked in the film industry in Australia, trained as a teacher of Chi Kung in Thailand, and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean on a small yacht. Then at the age 29, he had a transformative spiritual experience that led him to conceive The Gene Keys, a book that took seven years to write. Today, he teaches globally and was recognized in 2019 as one of The 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People by Watkins.

I really enjoyed listening to this conversation and hearing the depth and detail behind both the writing of the GK book and a tea ceremony. I tried a tea ceremony this morning, contemplating a sphere of my activation sequence with each of the first four cups of tea. It was really meaningful and left me wondering if we don’t all have the ability to write our own versions of our Gene Keys.

In the world of biodynamic craniosacral, the pauses between the rhythmic motion in the body is where healing takes place. Pauses create an inherent spaciousness, a dynamic stillness, the place of our deepest potential. It is the healing rhythm of the natural world, slowly breathing in and then slowly breathing out.
