What a time to be alive, getting insight on great works of art with my two favorite mentors, right here on my device... for free. So grateful 🙏🏼 thank you for being authentic and sharing your wisdom
SO cool to see you two together. Steven's journey is such a testament to his method. CLearly the resistance took him to all of those jobs in all of those places, ultimately bringing him to the place where he finally got it out. Resilience is the key takeaway - just keep at it. If it's in there, it will come out if you give it a chance.
Thank you for this wonderful conversation on creativity. So inspiring! Two men with a lot to say, but they are so into listening to and learning from eachother. I loooove that. Source poured through my screen... 😊🙏❤
I started reading for the first time (outside of school) and my first book was that creative act and my third was the war of art, the fact that I just finished WoA today and listening to this podcast is as sentimental as when the avengers assembled back in 2012
I feel such a kinship with Mr. Pressfield, a fellow Muse devotee. It’s quite thrilling to find Her reaching out through another. She came to me quite magically and has delighted my spirit ever since. More of that to come… See also, the White Goddess by Robert Graves.

Been waiting for this one. The war of art and the creative act are two of my favorite books
Literally two of the most influential people in my life, speaking to each other. I'm in heaven, this is amazing.
This is my absolute favorite podcast episode I’ve ever listened to! Thank you both
Ohhh my gosh… my two heroes exchanging ideas. This is an interview I will listen to many times.
Friggin awe some episode with Steven and Rick. I really dig the style of this podcast not to mention the mind that is Rick’s. Look forward to more.
epic duo, what a time to be alive!
Such a fantastic podcast. Love the style of music and ads that Rick uses
Please interview David Lynch

This...this entire session
Pressfield is the man!!
Awesome! 👏
Two of my favorites!!❤
So profound.
Oh yeah, those commercials are the best!!!
Could you please enable the caption? It's really helpful for non-native English speakers. Thanks
Rick sounds like he would be a really incredible photobook editor
❤
What's the book on creativity mentioned at 38:43? Thanks!
Twyla tharp - creative habit
@@tejablackphone Thank you so much!!
“A book has got to deliver a load…”
Is that why so many end up beside the shitter?
Quite annoying of Steven to keep saying Aha-Aha all the time!
But so much food for thought in this episode!
“Battle?” - Too negative and narrow minded - my least favorite of Rick’s podcasts
