    Andrew I have watch Chris @in the wood yard use the 22MB that you shipped to him and even as a novice he can shift a lot of wood , much more than with his Ultra. Keep up the good work with both your videos and your wood splitters.

    Just when you thought you’ve seen it all this comes along. I think you made a home run with this, everything is attached and folds out. Diesel engine is a bonus as well as the 22 inch log capacity and 30 ft logs, amazing. Saw GP outdoors, keep up the great work, cheers

    all I can say is I want one but at 63 years old I will have to keep on with my dyna SC-16 that I have had for the last 10 years as I just dont have the years left to pay for one of these great processors I dont think I am out on a limb but I bet this machine can do a tri axle load of wood in under 3 hours. It takes me 3 hours 45 min to do a tri axle load my 44 horse Kabota in no way can come close my cut speed is about half of Eastonmade time is money this thing is going to make a lot of profit for who every gets one take it from a guy that has had a processor for 10 years this thing is a beast. I do not know eastonmade but I can see a great processor when I see one and looks like top quality in material and workmanship prove me wrong I did some quick checking on cost a new dyna SC-16 is about 75 thousand and eastonmade has the 22MB listed for 100,000 this would be a no brainer the 22MB hands down

    I remember when I first saw "Eastonmade" wood splitters years ago. I thought to myself, '' Now that's a game changer.'' Your quality and features just blow competitors out of the water. This unit is jut another example. My mind is still racing after watching how fast that machine can cut the logs and then split them. It is absolutely crazy! My only question is about the wedges. I remember seeing an earlier video where you had a grid like wedge. Is that going to be a feature in the future for this machine? Overall, outstanding. 10/10.

      I'm bummed I missed the live stream but did watch it this morning. My question is are you having trouble delivering into the U.S? I purchased a log trailer with grapple and was supposed to take delivery in June, and was told they're working on shipping but having a problem at the border.

    • @EastonmadeWoodSplitters

  • @lofman
    @lofman 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Variable displacement piston pump, I knew it! When will the regular log splitters get them? I know you tested it out a couple of months ago, you didn't want to say what pump it was but it sure looked like that type of pump.. 😉
    That's also one reason it runs so cool. Don't have to cycle the oil if it's not used.
    Do you also use a pilot valve, like DRG or DRF on the Rexroth so you don't run at high pressure when not needed?
    I guess it's all "trade secrets"... 🙂

    It would be nice to see you make one half this size with a separate live deck... This 22MB is great processor but its to big. I love your stuff but you need to make a processor in the 30 to 50hp range.. Optional box wedge with return arm would be nice as well

    Bugatti of processors is right. That was some really fast cutting and splitting. I hope you had a half dozen extra sharpened chains to swap out to keep up the cutting performance. Does the conveyor on this one pivot side to side for greater stacking capacity?

    I watch Lumber Capital Log Yard (LCLY) and Neil Koch: Dig, Drive, DYI . I first saw the AXIS on Neil's channel. LCLY has an old Bells 2000 with a swing conveyor. Is a swing conveyor still possible on new equipment? Is a swing conveyor advisable? What is your opinion on a swing conveyor? It is not listed as an option. What is your opinion on chainsaw vs. blade. How do the costs work out. Clearly if you destroy a chain on some metal it won't cost as much to replace.

    Couple more good videos, I would like to see or know how the bar wears with the pressure its putting down, as well as maybe we can get a view of a bar flip and chain change over. Little bit more hardware holding that one together which is good and strong, thought I saw 4 bolts there, 2 horizontal like normal and 2 widthwise. I'd assume the extra 2 fully removed and just loosen others and release tension but if you're willing to do a little show on the most serviced areas for us I'm sure it'll be appreciated and loved by many... thanks again for quality video and products...

  • @frankthechemist
    @frankthechemist 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Very fast for a bar saw. The use of piston pumps is certainly helping, as well as for the cool operation. More expensive but they pay themselves in a few months just in fuel saved compared to gear pumps. Also being cool puts way less pressure on all the components and will help for longevity. Have you considered using joysticks instead of leavers? I know your job is to make firewood machines, not to use them all day long so cycle time may not be at its optimal best, but I feel that having both hands on proportional joysticks with the control of the splitter on your feet would allow the full use of the speed of the saw and splitter.

    • @EastonmadeWoodSplitters
      @EastonmadeWoodSplitters  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're right on with all of that. Our bigger machines run off of one joystick and its a lot smoother and easier to run

    I like bar saw processors. Looks like a performer. All looks good but I would want shields that tame the oil mist and dust that flies off the tip of the saw. I get a lot of oil mist off the tip of my processor bar which I don't think is very healthy to inhale. I wear a mask that helps
