The secret is out. Now everybody wants to live in Seattle. If they made a documentary today they would certainly have to get a shot of all the tents and trash in Seattle
Wandafuca subduction zone equals mega quake catastrophe of the highest order replete with tsunami. That spring just gets wound tighter and tighter. But this is the Washington State I left in 98. That's old Seattle's skyline in my id photo.
Regarding the date, there are two different Over Washington videos for sale on Amazon. So, perhaps this one on TH-cam is from the late 1980s? DVD (Sep 01, 1989) - Puget Sound waters on the cover DVD (Feb 10, 2009) - Mount Rainier on the cover
@@gregsalo950It's 1989. This is one segment of a larger full length documentary that covered the entire state through each region. I imagine the 2009 version is a restoration for a new generation as this video was uploaded then. Plus you don't see Key Arena at Seattle Center. So it can't be 2009 unless it's a restoration. 🙂
Just makes me want to move there even more every time I watch!!
It'd be great if they made a new version in HD.
This video is beautiful. Thank You. Ulric(Buckley,WA.)
a simpler time and a place to be safe.
I remember this when I was little
me to.
Wow, the kingdome had a lot of parking.
Stadium High School looks so pretty!
Since when has Peace Arch only had two lanes coming into the US, and such little traffic. Last weekend I crossed and I had to wait over three hours.

I love you, home.
tabrisangel19 me too. Homesick here in Seoul.
Any idea the date of this video?
The Kingdome is still standing (demolished March 26, 2000), so it might have been filmed in the 1990s?
