Farrah was my girl when I was growing up- I had her posters, doll, pictures and I used and loved her shampoo and conditioner. That stuff really worked and smelled sooo good!

@The70sChick Farrah's photo is on the box of the Lady Schick Speed Styler hair dryer. (And she made a good choice. In the early 1980's a lot of hair dryers were recalled because they had asbestos in them. But not the Lady Schick Speed Styler.)

Billy Powell of Lynyrd Skynyrd also lived in your city and he was five years younger than Farrah. I wonder if they ever crossed paths back in the 50s or 60s.

Fun fact; this spot was narrated by actor Cliff Robertson.

The house that Magnum lived in was demolished about 15 years ago. Not sure what is there now but you know it isn't grass and trees.

I had to look up what sort of alcoholic beverage Dubonnet was, and it doesn't sound bad at all. Wouldn't go out to buy it but at a party I'd ask for a tasting portion just to give it a try. I'd dare anyone there to call me an old lady.

Fun fact: Being Jewish is not a racial ethnicity, despite your false claims that that community are people of color. It is a religious belief, and only a religious belief.

Another fun fact: Gore Vidal was a child predator who abused countless of helpless and defenseless little boys non-stop in Thailand. It's people like Gore Vidal who every sane person should be deathly afraid of, and not Bill Cosby.

No, that not Cavett....I've watched many of his talk shows in reruns and it's definitely not him. But, the narrator does sound familiar from other voiceovers, which I can't place though.
