How do you decide at the beginning which way to pick??Towards the numbers on the edge of the tool or towards the blanks? I've seen people mention thus but not explain it.Thanks.
Amazing clear and direct explanation, well done, i seen gozo quick pick i wonder will those racking hu64 pick can open old seasoned merc lock? or i still has to use my hu64 lishi?
Good job... I tried to unlock many Mercedes cars with no result... The lishi only moves clockwise and only decodes ...how can I unlock Mercedes cars please?!!
Mate I can't work out how the he'll to do this I have a bunch of loshi tools and car locks I can hear a bunch of clicks and it barrel moves slightly that is it I have been trying over and over for last few weeks and I can't open any locks I'm about to sell all my equipment do you have any tips on what I could be doing wrong??
It does take a bit of practice to use these picks it's not a case of put it in a lock and bingo open. Step 1 insert the pick and check all wafers move freely if they don't it won't pick you will then have to free up the lock with some WD-40. Step 2 with the pick in the lock fold out the tension arm and apply some tension in the clockwise direction then use the 2 picking arms to look for a binding wafer once you have found one move the wafer till it has a small amount of free movement of it moves a little ie one cut line it's picked if you have no movement it either needs picking again or its been over picked and you will need to start again keep repeating till the lock opens. It takes time and patience to learn these tools and the locks I know of lads who have been trying to learn it for years and still can't do it. So not everyone will find the skill needed just take your time and watch the picking videos closely to see how the picking arms react when a wafer is picked. Good luck
@@5905-k8v when you a apply the tension just let it off a little as if you are locking then unlock it seems to work maybe your applying too much tension but it’s all about getting a feel i bought. Used lock and practiced on sometimes takes me 1 minute and sometimes 1 hr you will work it out good luck
9 and 10 keep getting stuck for me is there a certain amount of tension that you're supposed to use because I get all the rest 9 and 10 seem to be the trickiest
Can't say I've had any issues with 9&10 I've picked loads of these hu64 and not struggled with them if after picking 1-8 and 9&10 are bound up try releasing a little tension while applying pressure to the wafers that is what I do when I find a wafer that needs picking but won't move. It may drop one or 2 wafers but once 9&10 are set you can re set any dropped wafers good luck
@@sponge85029 is it easier to do the locks when they're out of the car I already programmed the key fob now I'm just trying to get the numbers to make the new key
there are my version of merc lock and lishi tools thats why i keep several version of it, some works best for some older models thats for sure, out in the field i usually bring a mini umbrella hat and a stool and take my time sitting comfortably to pick. It just need practices and understanding of the feel of binding. Good luck man.
Mercedes usually unlock in the clockwise direction just remember if the wafer is springy even just a little leave it alone don't pick it. if its hard so no movement pick it till it goes slightly springy and repeat till it opens it takes time to learn. sometimes when picking binding wafers you need to let off tension very very slightly for it to pick good luck 👍
@@spec12able if you mean once it's fully unlocked ie turned all the way clockwise once you let go of the tension the spring in the lock will return it back to the beginning there is nothing you can really do to stop that if you want to go from picked in clockwise direction to fully anticlockwise direction to lock the car you have to pick it again in the anticlockwise direction
