Just putting this here: 1. All instance of buff ability lasts for the entire battle. (Iron Valor, Yin Yang Power, Koga-Yamiga, Wild Smile, Blue-Red Colonge, Steel Body-Spirit). So cast them once at the start of battle. 2. All instances of buff abilities stacks additively Example: Fei Self Iron Valor (25%) and Yin Power (20%) plus Citan Yamiga (10%) means Fei gets 55% Attack UP for the rest of battle. since it's additive, it means casting both Yin-Yang power OR Koga-Yamiga are discouraged, since they cancels out for the rest of battle. 3. Special Buffs (Elemental addition to attack or defense, and speed up) has limited duration, usually 10 turns. Extra: Rico Steel body is bugged. It does nothing. Extra2: Other characters buffs are mostly for self. Citan is the only exception, who can cast Koga and Yamiga to entire party. He's overpowered and must be in party at all times. Extra3: Bart Wild Smile (Hit -50%) + Red Colonge (Hit -50% when attacking Bart) means enemy cannot hit Bart with physical attack. With white colonge, all attacks are missed and countered. 4. Healing abilities, when used in Gear Mode does "Restore Gear DEF". This resets DEF bonus to 0, in case any enemy uses DEF down. 5. There are no DEF UP abilities for gear. Not even Yang Power or Koga. Elly Ether success rate is affected additively by Base Ether stat. If her Ether is 80, then all abilities has 100% of success. The number shown can overflow, but it counts as 100%.
Something else is, Fei's Yang Power (the one that lowers defense and increases attack, may be the other one) is bugged, it doesn't lower your defense like it says, or so I've read
