  • How do we determine the underlying mechanism for Unresolved GI symptoms.
What patients don't realized is that gastrointestinal dysfunction can manifest somewhere else other than the stomach. Skin rashes, depression, autoimmune disease, food sensitivities, diabetes and chronic fatigue can all be as a result of GI dysfunction.
Dr. Jin Sung specializes in the management of complex chronic conditions in Massachusetts, 30 minutes north of Boston. He utilizes natural and alternative therapies to help manage complex cases such as Hashimoto's, autoimmune conditions, IBS, SIBO, chronic fatigue etc.

This series was very informative for me. My toddler has an endoscopy coming up soon to test for suspected Congenital Sucrase-Isomaltase Disorder (CSID). And it’s for sure been a year plus of going back and forth to the doctor citing complaint of things I’ve noticed in him since he was a baby.
In which he was a completely normal child until he ended up with Salmonella (from his Similac formula during the outbreak). I always felt off thinking that him getting that so young while he was an infant probably plays a small part in him now possibly having CSID.

What a great series. Question Please. I can take 40 betain hcl tablets, no burning sensation or any discomfort. At 50 tablets, I feel a bit of a nausea. I also tried the baking soda test and failed that [twice, with different brands]. Can I safely assume I have low stomach acid?
