@@thomasmcewan2597 hey thanks for the comment. The short answer is that the customer and Architect are both focused on using natural materials where possible so wood fibre fits the bill . It also lends itself to masonry construction well as we can fit it tight against the building as it will allow ‘vapour ‘ to travel through inside to out and vice versa where as with PIR you need a cavity space to allow for airflow as that acts more as a vapour barrier and water can get trapped and in turn deteriorate the building over time . I’m not an expert on all this to be honest , I’ll try do a wee explainer on the next video where we install the VCL and service battens 👍
