7:39 there's what appears to be a big line of air bubbles. Also you should use the other side of the squeegee to really force it out the edges as there is where it will start to lift first. Another tip is to do this in the bathroom after the room is completely steamed up from running the shower, that will remove a lot of dust from the air. Also try not to lean over the top of the screen prior to installing the protector as any dandruff or skin might fall onto it. Last but not least, leave the phone for a few hours unfolded after installing, this will allow the adhesive to fully bond before you force it to fold.

Secondly, thank you to white stone dome for making an easy to use, at home kit. The JIG was a life safer as I have shakey hands and the quality of the screen protector is better than Samsung's stock screen protector so hopefully it lasts longer. My Z Fold 3 feels brand new! Hopefully I can get another few years out of it. Note: I used a sheet of paper to between the screen and the stock screen protector to help get it off. I changed my protector immediately in the evening but with lots and lots of lighs (even a head torch!) so I could see any dust. I then waited all night and half the next day before I did the first fold to give the glue maximum time to adhere.
Nice demo i followed your directions when i did my 1st fold no problem. Had 2 replace fold reordered this product and this time film did not seperate at the edge of jig like 1st time. Resulted having to cut. Bubbles everywhere not sure if this material is different
Had a couple tiny scratches on the outside hinge. Samsung says it out of warranty for just that. Says they don't do partial repairs so it would cost over 5 hundred to repair. No issues with phone at all. Just screen protector was cracking at the fold. The claim the small sctrches on the hinge messed up the inner scree I tried WSD. After several times, got my money back. Installation was perfect. But only lasted 2 months for the 1st before lifting from the fold. 2nd lasted a week. 3rd lasted 2 minutrs. During all this I was fighting Samsung, asurion and VZW about warranty. Verizon finally replaced my device under warranty. Looks great and works great. Even some issues I thought were app related have resolved with replacement device Moral of the story: Samsung warranty is a scam. They will try anything to not honor their warranty. Had this issue in tablets and watches too. This was they only time I didn't win against Samsung but I won just the same in the end
This worked out great for me after my default Samsung screen began to bubble and crack in the middle. The key indeed is to use the sticker for all the dust and use that alcohol swab to thoroughly clean the screen. Phone feels like brand new now and I notice it a lot when I fold the phone.

The discontinued it because the only ones that did not shatter are those with affiliate links. It was a terrible product. Their new PET film is actually perfect though. Same installation and is identical to the OEM protector so it's great if you need a quick replacement and don't live near a Samsung store.
I've had my Whitestone Dome Silk installed on my Fold 3 for about a week now. It was very easy to install, it looks and feels great. It's only been a week though, so I'll have to see how it holds up as time goes on.
Update: Just over three weeks in, and my Whitestone Dome Silk screen protector has cracked in the center. But not because of something that I did wrong, I didn't drop it, or mishandle it. I just opened up this morning and saw that it was cracked. Plus I don't repeatedly open and close, and open and close my phone everyday. I only open and close my phone about 10 times max throughout the entire day. I can't recommend this product at all, $90 just wasted. I wish I had kept the pre-installed factory screen protector on it instead, there was really nothing wrong with the factory pre-installed screen protector.

you wont really know until you take it off. I was 100% sure I had micro-cracks in the Ultra Thin Glass but after I took the stock protector off I saw that the cracks were in that and not the phone. If you can feel them from the outside with your fingernail they are probably just in the protector

Ive successfully installed 3 of these and the hardest part by far is the absolute horrible design of peeling the protective layer off of the screen protector itself, its incredibly fragile, poorly glued on and often rips or separates the screen protector from the top and bottom pieces. Not to mention how confusing it is even knowing which part is the screen protector.
Yeah I dont recommend glass of any kind as a protector for your fold. You are constantly opening and closing your fold so why have glass screen protector that can shatter and damage the display? IMO the best screen rpotector is hydrogel. It has a rubber like texture so it wont shatter and damage your display.
I would stay away from Whitestone don't they have always messed up my phones they're garbage I don't know why TH-camrs promote this brand I'm quite sure they're getting paid by them though

I got this one that came with thr kit and it's highly recommended. too bad not all replacements you buy come with the recommend holes on thr film to lay down easily on the kit..I didn't get a perfect lay down but it's good enough

Same thing happened to mine within 3 weeks randomly happened no falls or squishing at all. And now they took it off the website
