- Black Dodge Charger has "escaped 7 times from State Troopers" now in the last 11-12 months! A black Charger in Arkansas rides around with no lights on & baits State Police into a car chase they end up losing. The State Troopers look to be in stock Charger 5.7L R/T pursuits so this Black Charger 5.7L R/T is likely putting more HP/Torque down to the ground for easier getaways. Check out these Charger R/T escapes from law enforcement.
Modern Day "Ghost" Mopar - This Black Charger R/T rolls around at night stealth mode & shows state troopers they have no chance of catching him.

@Mark Miller Secondly, how are you going to call in something you can't see? The only ppl who say you can't outrun the radio are those with slower vehicles. 😂
I worked with a guy well over 25 years ago who had over a dozen cars spread all over the city in Uhaul storage facilities and that's what he did every Friday, find a cop, and outrun them. It was the only other hobby, other than modifying cars, that he had. Worked hard, and played hard.

The secret to going fast is knowing where you’re going.
Exactly. Knowing the area and where the speed bumps are and the hard corners. When I was a kid I lived in an area that had about 6 places that only a dirt bike could get through so for fun we would get cops to light us up and lose them through cannals and back entrances to elementary schools and shit.
Reason i keep my maps open
Why are people bragging about eluding police... As far a dirt bike they could caught you at will .. they just let you play
@@jam7547 why are you watching and commenting on a video about a person eluding police? As far as the dirt bike goes, no they couldn’t have caught me or else they would have… and they sure did try.

When I was a teenager, in the 90's, in Chicago there was a guy that did the same thing. I actually met him once at a gas station.
He had a blacked out Lamborghini Countach, he could turn the brake lights off, had pitch black tints, and apparently some type of night vision set-up inside. I don't believe he was ever caught.

@@alyxms5826 That's how the story goes. When I saw him at that gas station I didn't have a camera or video recorder on me so I never got a picture of his car.

Legend has it the guy you saw ran certain substances and/or small arms through the country and Mexico. Stories circulated how he would move through the desert at night near 200mph with only the scream of the V12 in his wake.
@DemosthenesLok Wait, seriously? Like I said back then, there was no social media, only the news and the rumor mills. Yes, there were chat rooms online, but I never read about him online. If I remember I saw something about him on the news before I saw him in person.
So you're saying that in the late 90's between 96 and 99, that's the time frame I must have seen him, there was a guy smuggling various things throughout the American Southwest and Mexico. He was driving a Black Lamborghini Countach, completely blacked out, supposedly with some type of night vision.
If this is true, you just blew my mind. I thought this was just a local story.
@@whataqtify Absolutely serious. That's the exact timeframe I would have heard the story. Late 90s. What's crazy is that you just added details that I didn't put in my OP and they match what I heard. Completely blacked out Countach, even with an odd paint job, not showroom shiny. BA legend.

I can see the Dodges being the better choice in an old school neighborhood that has dips at every intersection, just because it can probably blow through them without slowing down as much.
I suspect the most important thing isn't the choice of car, as long as it's something at least reasonably fast. I think knowing the streets you're on is very important to safely navigating at higher speeds. Wouldn't want to enter a blind turn at 100-mph when it will only tolerate 90-mph or whatever. Being able to plan out your speeds and lines a hundred yards ahead of yourself would really help, as opposed to just winging it through an unknown area and being reactive.

Why do they even bother walking up? They are very obviously going to run away, wouldn’t it be best to sit in the car and wait for backup? Maybe set a trap up ahead while you wait? The driver of that charger is more than likely a ex-LEO and has extensive training in performance/pursuit driving. I've watched most of the videos with them, they are very skilled and are not making many mistakes. Back in the late 80's in Washington State near the city of Kent, WA. There was a 1956 chevy that would go looking for state patrol officers and do the same thing that the charger is doing. They would bait the state patrol office into a chase and then just out drive and out run them. In my opinion, it's a person who is either a ex-LEO or current LEO and is just trolling the State Troopers for the fun of it.

I had a friend that used to do this in his modified rx7. He never got caught but he had some close calls. He modified the car specifically for this for a period of time. He wouldn't run plates at all and had the brake and tail lights on switches and he would talk about various wheel and tire combinations and brakes all sorts of different things like gearing for top speed versus acceleration and running different manifolds and turbos and he would go out and practice driving at night and got a bit addicted to ditching the cops im not sure what he liked more either ditching the cops or getting seat time to practice on the road going full tilt and tuning the car. Its not exactly my idea of a good time haha.
Pretty much what I plan on doing with my Corvette.

He did have a screw loose though, only person with an r1 with nitrous and actually tried to use it in the mountains
@@WholesaleTurbos I would be upset if the cops tried ramming my car or something but I guess that's the point of being a good driver and staying ahead and away from them. But you never know. My friend never got caught but had very close calls he stopped going out after a couple times when he would purposely run the cops through a certain area to make them crash he did it twice in a row or twice within a short period of time and it got a bit serious. I know it's really fun to tear up the streets but sooner or later if your being too ignorant someone's gonna get hurt and it's just not my idea of fun having some knucklehead cop trying to ram my car off the road that I work so hard on to keep nice. It's one thing to have the ability to outrun the cops but to go out looking for it for fun is just nuts I prefer to drive like a granny on the road anymore haha. I do my shenanigans off road or in a safe location with nobody around. Even back then I would tell him it was a stupid idea when I was helping him prep the car. It was a very fast car i can't remember specifics but it was an rx7 and he had 2 pineapple racing engines for it at least I think that's what he called them I'm not a big rotary guy that was the only time I worked on them is with him but he always had an engine on the stand freshened up ready to go. He was doing tuning himself and we tried a couple different turbos and stuff then he did brake upgrades and would try different tires and suspension mods he was really into it and that car was specifically for tearing up the streets with no plates or anything on it. He did register eventually after he was done being stupid with it.

I live in Arkansas. The blacked out charger is in the Little Rock area and he is a legand. There is a state trooper in that area, Jacob Bird, that has reportedly never lost a pursuit. That was until he came across the blacked out charger. I say blacked out not only because of color and tint but it is said that he can kill power to his lights. I did hear a rumor recently that it was finally caught, but if that is so, it has not made the news. Jacob Bird is "TheMan" or was until he met the blacked out charger. It would be hilarious if the driver were a female.

A word of wisdom. Always wipe down the back and side of the vehicle if you need to do something so wreck less. They always put a hand on the car to leave prints for future investigations. I have a 6.0 GTO. Out run our city PD Hellcat 3x. They found it in my driveway and were quite surprised that a 65 yr old retired RN is the owner. They didn’t have the courage to ask if I was driving it when they couldn’t catch it.
I bet the guy driving that charger is a cop because he knows the procedure his fellow officers have to take.
Trooper Byrd's evil twin brother
The guy is a genius he only races with police at night as he knows during the day police helicopter will easily see him and keep up with him.
One thing to factor in is that alot of departments use the V6 Charger Pursuit. A 5.7 with a good tune and full bolt ons will be quicker. Now with some of the Hellcat 5.7 adapter kits and stroker kits available you can have some very quick 5.7 MOPARs.
Yah around me most of the Chargers are V6's. The ones in this are 5.7's though - you can hear it on the accelerations while chasing
Dodge stopped making a 5.7 and AWD which forced most agencies to then get the v6 cause that had AWD. Unfortunately the 5.7 is going away from Ram 😞
why if he put the RT body on a base V6 maybe even a GT car and it runing an Ripp superchager kit.
None of them damn police cars are v6 lol. All v8 the 5.7 slow regardless. I’ve been in back of one it was a 5.7 liter

There was an old trick of racing shipyard workers and navy setting up racing meets after they viewed under the hood. Racing for titles was the game. The fast part of the game was a quick engine swap from the 389 to an aluminum 427 racing engine. Never failed.
Yeah a lot of people don't realize that there are kits to basically turn a 5.7 into a 6.4, and a hellcat super charger can be installed on a 5.7 as well. Could be that, or even could be that he swapped a hellcat motor and computer into an older RT. Whether it a heavily modified 5.7, or a 6.2 hellcat swap anything is possible if you have the money.
Yeah that wont happen
At 2:52 the charger actually was in the far left lane and the Trooper drove right past him 😂a win is a win
Yup! Bet that state trooper was kicking himself in the ass rewatching the video hahaa
Different tail light variation. Those were 2014 tail lights. Undefeated charger is 2015+ new body style, the brake lights don't light up like that and they aren't as squared off as what you seen in the video. But that'd be a hell of get away story if it was the right car

I appreciate the guy that left his blinker on so we could see how fast he disappeared.
This guy knows what he's doing! #1 rule for evading police at night: light's out. It amazes me how many idiots don't do this when running from the cops at night. And if you don't know the roads well enough that you can drive them with the lights out, then thats your fault for committing crimes in an area you haven't previously surveilled.
The timing of when he turns the taillights off is great. Keeps the turn signal going until just around the bend and it is sigh and then all lights go off. I loved it.
In 1977 I had a1971 Charger R/T 440 magnum heavily modified. 440 with 30over with pop up pistons/headers with thrush straight thru mufflers. Edelbrock intake with Holley four barrel. Slap stick shifter with posi-trac. The police kept pulling me over till I finally sold it! When you floored it it looked like vin diesels charger in fast and furious. Sure loved driving it!
1:17 He found the hidden button "HAUL A$$" button on the light 😂😂😭😂
If one wants to "black out", using a disconnect switch to lift tail light ground would prevent REAR turn signal and brake light while allowing full use of headlights and FRONT flashers. (don't know why I would know that! )
He has done the taillight mod where you can turn off the outer ring on the taillights and possibly the entire tail light. But that rear lower defuser is without a doubt an RT. I know my RT will easily do 172 in 4th gear.

0:09 "Drive Safely" 😂 He is definitely screwing with these cops. You know this guy has a switch to turn off ALL the lights in the back. The video starts out with his rear running lights blacked out but his turn signals and brake lights still work. He actually waits for the trooper to touch the car then speeds away, and trolls him by speeding away with the turn signal still flashing. Seems like he's playing games with the troopers eyes, making him think that his running lights are the only lights that were out making him think he could get hints of what to look for, but you know the minute line of sight was broken, he switched all the lights off and it was over. Troll level 100%
Whoever catches the undefeated charger should get a special medal. Also, I hope this guy never gets caught :) This reminds me of NFS Most Wanted, I do this all the time and wait for cops to catch up with me :)

When it comes to 5.7s it really comes down to driving skill. Sadly, these are insanely underpowered for their claimed output.
I was thinking about the overated hellcat also and I think its the transmissions that take too much power
They have a horrible power to weight ratio. They are just heavy cars. 🤷♂️
Mods are everything
Stock for stock R/T is just as quick 0-60 as a Scat Pack. 392 puts down too much power for the stock tires to handle. The car is not "underpowered"... it weighs 4300lbs. That's only about 500lbs less than a regular cab 2wd Hemi Ram 1500.
@@Darkfinn and the truck is slow too.. the rt is slow for having 370 and the rt is slow for having 475. They are just poorly made and have overrated power numbers or my guess is they are so cheap the transmission robs all the power

Judging by some of the comments, there's people out there that don't want to accept that there's fast 5.7 cars out there. Some even fast enough to give 392 cars a hard time, and in some cases even Hellcats as well(not often but it happens).

You can see it looks like at most of the time the undefeated charger is running only the headlights on this car. But he does still have active brake lights, which smartly enough makes him look like every other car on the highway just braking to get out of the way of police lights and siren. Definitely has this car tuned up to have a much faster trap speed to get ahead and stay ahead long enough until he either blends in with traffic or is able to hide fast enough before being seen again. There is a mild spoiler on that car like a little carbon lip that distinguishes it as the undefeated charger and I can’t tell what the plate is but it looks to be blank unless it is blurred out along with some very very dark tint on this car. unless that is a badge for the R/T police pursuit I seeing, but it definitely does not have a diffuser on it at all.

It’s awesome!
Finally... Finally..Thanks for making this video I've been watching him dog the shit out of troopers for almost to years ..he's actually on two different You channels 😂
I can't believe he keeps slipping away. Pretty wild!!!
I’ve always had some quick launches from the light in my 2016 Charger RT. I can easily put the majority of traffic far behind me if I want to. Not the fastest car on the road but it’s still more than the average driver is driving. It gets up quickly, hits the open holes in traffic hard and I think that’s its advantage. The dealership where I bought it all those years ago is practically begging me to trade it in to them, even for a cash offer. I told them the only way I trade it in is if I get a newer 392 or above in return. 😂
These cars are going out of production why would I settle for anything less. I’ll keep it and get another car when I feel the need.

Send more than a few pursuit vehicles out there with a 6.4L hemi, no problem. Still don't work? Install a Hellcat powertrain.
Agreed that "undefeated" black Charger has probably got a stepped-on 5.7 in it, as my '14 300C sure picked up a huge power increase with CAI Mopar intake, 180 stat, shorty headers and low restriction exhaust plus a 91 octane tune from Diablosport. I use a 5 speed trans in this car also, works great, especially with some M-B AMG parts in it and an electronic shift firmness upgrade.
The cops will eventually nail that guy one way or another, they are just paying out the rope.
Plenty of impounded Hellcats - they should grab one & see if they can finally get this dude.
@@RTLife yep, just have their repair shop transfer the powertrain from a Charger HC redeye.......all bolt-in stuff.

With the right combo these 5.7L hemi's really pep up! Your 392 should be able to take a full bolt/cam/long tube on 5.7L though. Get some radials on that beast!
Maybe when he gets a huge gap he then can shut his lights off and then slowly turn in somewhere. Once cop passes just go back the opposite way but drive the speed limit and then call it a night.
Looks like that's what he does - gets a little distance, shuts off all lights & dips. The state police have no clue where he turned etc. pretty wild seeing him getting away because most done - we're terrible at driving!

Going balls to the wall on the street is very different than going all out on a racetrack, the street is very unforgiving and far more dangerous.
I was thinking there’s no way that the same guy who is blazing these corners at 6:40 is the same idiot who crashed going like 30 mph lmao
Love a good sleeper. I did my runs on my 2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200cc. Soon as you see lights, drop a gear and disappear. Despite having a Ford Fiesta motor between my legs in displacement it was on just 400lb tube frame. After mods I was making 80hp. This is the equivalent of a 3200lb car having 640hp. 500 is probably the floor for giving chase especially if you do highway
The fact that the other charger tried to get away in bad weather should be a crime in itself.
The key is to never keep looking back and not be scared , talk to yourself out loud , or play your favorite songs , but never get scared and every turn counts so know how to go into any turn
