Wilson sister (Heart / Lovemongers) covers are the best thing on TH-cam... or for that matter, anywhere. There's no song they can't make completely and utterly theirs. An Elton John song they may have covered, but I've yet to find is "Madman across the Water". Can you imagine? They would tear it up.
Chris Allen I saw Elton last year and he still owns this song which he proudly sang live and sounded amazing. Wilson sisters are great but it’s Elton’s song.
Bravo Nancy and Ann. You gave that song new life. I'm sure Bernie and Elton would be proud. Very nice job on that low note Nancy. You guys are the best!!
Looks like she’s rocking an ovation celebrity, I have that exact guitar in sunburst. Amazing instrument, fills out the guitar sound so nice between the two. Mind blown
If I go more than a few weeks without listening to this version of this song, my life starts noticing something is missing.lol Aside from their obvious vocal/writing talents, Nancy is such a great rythm guitar player
Listening to this, I realize that Ann was the reason they were a supergroup. Nancy: A. Ann: A+. But here it works because Nancy is genuine, but the song doesn't tug at your heartstrings until Ann comes in on harmonies in the chorus. I think this version is probably better than Elton's. I think Sir Elton would agree.
Only 15k views and 22 comments, 4 years later. Heart beautifully covering Elton John.
Sad...just sad.
Just 2 guitars and 2 amazing voices and yet it fills he space!
As a life long Heart fan going back to the 70’s. This is ABSOLUTELY the best version of this song I have ever heard.
I just can’t believe that this performance is not played at least once every day on the radio…phenomenal ❤️❤️❤️
The best Elton John song being covered by one of the best rock duo's......gorgeous
I love the Wilson sisters. Such a great cover of Elton John and Bernie Taupin's marvelous song. I absolutely love it!
Fantastic, Nancy’s vocals shine and Ann’s harmonies are perfecto🤗
Gave me chills and made me tear up, I love this song, and Heart did such an amazing job😭
Love the Ovation 12 string.

Brandi Carlisle does a killer version of Madman. Check it out.

Nailed the harmonies!
That's the best cover of Elton and Bernie's ML&MH's that I've heard. Anyone here heard a better one?
not better, just different: th-cam.com/video/meXTjB4OKs0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9-tiNIEmAgUCwpE6&t=143

Very nice version.
That was great, but the end was brutal!
Holy Shit
😊👍🏽👍🏽
It’s “heart”
w. Kesia just realised that
Would have preferred Ann singing lead, but it’s still good.
No. Nancy did it perfectly.
