This is an excellent lesson and will be a real challenge and a triumph to learn this stunning song which has always been one of my top EJ songs. Thank you most sincerely.
Been a big fan of Elton John since the 70’s. This tune and “Daniel” are among my favorites. You and your singer covered this song and lesson better than anyone on TH-cam. Really a fine job! Thank you for doing this incredible song!
Absolutely brilliant performance and lesson, I just watched Ann and Nancy Wilson do it live and it blew my head off, Thanks for getting it in context for me. Now to find a singer to duet with
Sounds absolutely amazing! I was working on the intro to “Capt. Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy” today. Hint, hint! Thanks for all of the great lessons!
That is going to be hard as hell to learn but you’ve made it understandable. I can’t think of a better way to try and learn it…..and I will. Beautiful rendition!
This lesson is So well done. The chords are right on, the voices are immaculate, and that guitar has such a nice tone quality. Howard, you are a master. Could you please tell us what guitar you play in this video? Thank you.
Awesome nancy wilson plays it 12 string capo 4 th fret main guitar ann come in on 6 string and no capo like u. Thank u so much because this song has such beautiful chords s. Thanx
IKR. I'm searching for a good cover of Mona Lisas and Madhatters and Elton keeps being the best performance [even solo and even when he alters the arrangement {Elton's too good}]. But this is a substantial and excellent performance. Understands the sincerity of the song.
That part does actually begin at 15:40 or so... But I think my editor may have missed a pinch of instruction for it. But hopefully, with the camera angle, everyone can catch it.
Ya , great song choice and transcription.
I thought I was the only one who loved this track

Beautiful rendition, thank you very much. Loved this song for 40 years and more, a true classic from Elton.
Excellent vocals. Clean, in tune.
Much appreciated!

I've been looking for a lesson like this for this song. This is brilliant. Are the tabs available as a PDF somewhere?
Hi - You can request the Tabs at info@bluerasamedia.com - If they are available, they will be emailed to you for free.
Sounds great. This looks a lot like Nancy Wilson's beautiful version.
Love this!

Mr Hart, could you teach us Don't let me down by the Beatles please? Thanks
It's definitely on my to do list :-) Hopefully with time
@@247GuitarwithHowardHart That Cool! Thanks for answering. Goodnight. Greetings from Brazil.
Love Her voice Better than Stevie and better than Bonnie
Great until the chorus... Still can't figure out what happens after the first c chord
Is it just me or is there a chunk missing.. the actual chorus haha
The instruction for the Chorus is at 15:40 in the video :-)
@@247GuitarwithHowardHart It seems like the missing part is "sons of bankers, sons of lawyers". When I watch you play it, it looks like F7, Am7/G.

@@247GuitarwithHowardHart but did I get tue chords right?
Yes - You did :-) But just a straight F major will do.
