I have over 3000 hrs in Legacy 500s and Praetor 600s and I feel they are the most awesome aircraft in its class. One gets spoiled with them because everything is automatic.
Dennis...you seem pretty unimpressed by these planes. I understand that you see the longer range as having little practical utility given the typical flights this category usually performs. But it seems to me that even if you eliminate the range as a factor, the 600's other specs still make it a better plane(or equal)vs the others in the same class...at a significantly lower price. Am I missing something? I'm not an experienced pilot, curious about your opinion. Thanks, Dave.
It is a nice jet, its surprising to me how few they sold. I was under the impression Cessna stopped doing discounts a few years ago when they dropped Mustang and the X+ from the lineup. Thank you and be safe.
It’s ‘one of my favorites’ due to the cabin cross section / length are right sized for an 8 passenger cabin; well-equipped galley and of course performance, LRC of .8M and best in class cabin altitude of 4900’ at FL410. Thanks for watching!
The point of the side stick is that it allows for rapid control inputs and dealing with high g-forces. They might be an advantage in an emergency situation. But yokes provide more visual feedback to the pilot and are probably more precise due to the larger range of motion.
Sorry but its a very biased opnion, looks to me that you were just looking at week points and belittling the good ones...Funny thing, I hear a very different story when talking with who actually uses it...

Well they just received their biggest order yet of 250 planes. Hope its a good one. And great review just facts, excellent 👌🏼

Well at first I thought Richard Gere started an aviation career.
Gee, I thought I was the only one who had that thought! 😎😎
According to the information on the Internet, the flight distance of legacy450 has reached 2900nm. What is the reason for the 2300nm in your video?
Because 2900nm is the NBAA 4 passenger IFR Range, and 2300nm is the NBAA IFR range with all passenger seats occupied.
Net Jets seems to love the Praetor 500 ordered 250
I seen thumbnail and was like Richard Gere selling small jets? lol

Hi Dennis have you done a video on the challenger 850, dont find one on your list of videos...are planning to make one???
Yes that would be super interesting to hear about!
Stay tuned! Thank you for watching!
I loved this report by the guy that looks a bit like Richard Geyer. Reminds me of AV Web , another good aviation channel
He looks like.. Richard Geer!!!!👍👍
Basically says nothing about the Praetor 500/600 at all.
Winglets increased range plus or minus 500 miles?
Thank you.
Another great video. Please please do one on the Legacy 600/650
Stay tuned!! Be sure to subscribe to receive a notification new videos, such as the 600/650 are uploaded!
Yes please
Richard Gere?
Wow do you work for cessna? a lot of misinformation
I thought the same too. I’ve heard nothing but praise for the praetor 600. Oh yea, I want smaller cabin dimensions and more fuel stops 🙄. Lol
Would it be farfetched to incorporate the Embraer Fly-by-Wire tech on the Phenom 300E ?
Not really.......but a complete redesign will be required
yes, I believe it would make the a/c cost prohibitive in class. Thanks for watching!
@@TheRousseauReport Also WHY.....Cessna Longitude is your favourite.......I see nothing special ????? A video please.
As a phenom driver it would be fantastic to have that added leg room!
Lovely❤😍
Why is the Longitude your new favourite jet?

@@TheRousseauReport Oh thanks for reply.
@@TheRousseauReport Honestly I would have thought you liked the Challenger 350 better in this super mid-sized segment.
Brilliant - love your style Sir :)

You might wanna fly a sidestick before commenting. What you wrote is mostly garbage. I’ve been flying sidesticks for 17 yrs.
Yokes is outdated technology only used by Boeing , all other companies have switched to sidesticks like Airbus, Gulfstream, Bombardier, Embraer.

After 20000 thousand hours flying pully controlled aircraft, I disagree,
Flyby wire on its own is a liability.
