[Dreamcast] Capcom vs SNK PRO | All Stage Intros [720P/HD Remastered/60FPS/NullDC]

- The Dreamcast version of the game has a special animated intro for each stage, this is something you don't normally see on 2D fighting games. It could be said that back in the 2000s this was revolutionary. It's sad because nowadays Capcom throwed all the 2D artistic originality to the trash in order to make cheap 3D graphics for their fighting games.
This was played on PC, I upscaled the graphics with the NullDC emulator and I remastered the footage to make it look more clear and colorful.

Stage intros and Special pre-fight interactions?! What happened Capcom??
That was mostly for the Kof games but yeah, Sf alpha 3, Sf3 and Third srike had special intros.
We need Future Fighting games that knows how to hype a Stage.
Have you played the soulcalibur games?
one of the reasons why the dreamcast version is better than the ps1 version.
The PS1 Version Sucked! The Loading Drove Me Crazy!!! 🤯🤯🤯
@@crypticsailor Well unless it was something like Gundam Battle Assault. That actually played ok for being a PS1 title.
Exactly the same as the PS1 version of Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, utterly neutered
loved the intros in this game. If only Capcom vs SNK 2 kept these production value with the awesome gameplay balance/modes.
That would be good if if we’re remastered or remade.
@@solidmage1720 hehehe.... about that
@@KingHydros-pu1el Yeah, it's just porting the games to new hardware.
The lighting, the character animations the music. This game was so great me and my brother could not stop playing it.
Back when Capcom knew how to make fighting games AND do sprite animation!
Capcom is so overrated nowadays. All people talk about is Street Fighter and most people don't even know about KOF!
The 90's definitely had the best games. Marvel vs Capcom and Capcom vs SNK were just amazing. What a dream come true when you see Kyo and Ryu in the same game.
This wasn't the 90s
this game released on 2000
I am so grateful to have live thru this Era. It is Truly missed 😢
GEEEEEESE!!!!
C'mooon...
i freaking love that one for the traffic pileup stage, been wishing that was a real game since i first saw it.
I've seen this video dozens of times but i just now realized that the brief bit of music at 0:23 was also sampled in Let it Go from the Ollie Kings soundtrack from the Jet Set Radio composer.
Can you find it for me on youtube
That Sample is used in most games like in Persona 3
1:22 Ryu vs Ryo+AoF intro+ The stage ost intro = Real hype !!!
WE NEED CAPCOM VS SNK 3!!!! NO MORE M.U.G.E.N
I don’t care if this is my favorite out of the two games. This game was so beautiful and well thought out.
man i loved this and cvs2's artstyle.
Too bad Ikeno's Capcom art for #1 was sub-par. I.E. Cammy's giraffe long neck. lol
@@rumble-roses SNK will always be better than Capcom at art!
CVS1 had a better polish and presentation While CVS2 had better game play
Aaron9 That’s a fucking lie. Dreamcast was built off the same arcade board these games were made on.
@Aaron9 the dreamcast controller was horrible for fighting games. I used a converter to use a psx controller at that time. I didn't like cvs 2 on ps2 even if its the same game. It had a bit more delay than the dreamcast version but not by much.
No its not a fucking like. I agree and fk you if you dont. @@Jetanium
Dude these were so odd when I first looked at them, but I like it...
wonder why Capcom never bothered with a stage intro for Morrigon ?
This game + Dreamcast + CDHDMI mod = 🤯
Awesome! Thanks for sharing
1:34 Looks like Zangief and Raiden are having a bromance moment lol
0:23 Muffled Shudder lyrics.
Presentation here was better than CVS2
Best art in the entire vs series of games imo
Best game ever made!
HOLY it's better than street fighter V
The traffic accident intro was always the most hype one
0:39 is that supposed to be based off of any game in particular? I can't seem to find any kind of game this part was from.
Nonetheless, this is one of my favorite stage intros.
It's called Capcom Stage but I don't know if it's based on a particular game
Its base off auto modellista.
DacDaMan710 auto modellista came out in 2002 for ps2...cvs came out in 2000 for the arcade.
I've always thought it was based off of Exed Exes since it's a Capcom racing game. The graphics reminds me of Pole Position.
Sega Outrun
I forgot that the back ally stage is a final fight stage.
0:39 when will we see that racing game? I wished we also had that Marvel vs Capcom vs SNK: Ultra Street Fighter Alpha; it would have been the ultimate 2d fighter with a triple digit cast.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 brings me here.

Nah. In terms of Capcom vs SNK, the heart of that crossover was always between Street Fighter and the King of Fighters (the latter being a crossover itself) and really, the history of the two goes back to Street Fighter. It's what makes it special compared to the other VS games back then and later on. But hey, decent choices. :)
0:23 my favorite intro
The best in this game is the takuma stage the dojo using special to defeats cpu opponents using special for every round to last round his dojo collapse. 😅 🤣
I just noticed that Joe's mouth doesn't move in CVS1.
1:12 THIS! :-)
I would love to see akuma's cvs1 stage remade in 3d for sf5 cuz good lord does it look so cool
My favorites Games of Fight Capcom vs SNK Pro and Capcom vs SNK 2 of Sega Dreamcast 😎☺😍👍👌
Awesome !
0:23 it's a theme street fighter 3 fight for the future??
no
Wow, those of us that only had the PS1 version REALLY got shafted, didn't we?
I miss this game
0:20 That was my favorite intro
0:39 Thumbnail (Also, is this referencing an actual racing game?)
1:53
Why they didn't do this in CVS2?
Mister Adam Because Capcom was on a budget.
Probably on a time budget too. Much like Marvel vs Capcom 1, the productions values seem better in CapvsSnk 1.
I was always of the opinion that they did away with intros in favour of the 3d backgrounds in part 2
Wait, there's no intro at Morrigan's stage?
+Richtergamer XLI It would seem so
@@ParadigmShifter do you like the part at 1:53
@@ultrajdjsultratantrum I do
1:11
lol
looks like an anime :)
What is the "old school car arcade" intro from?? is that homage to an old school capcom or snk game i dont know about?
Stone Cold it could possibly be a reference to the beginning of the resident evil 2 stage
Could be Exed Exes, it's an old Capcom Racing Game.
At 0:29 the black shadows of the trash cans look a victory pose mvc arcade reference of the hulk
@@MB-hd6uv yeah FFFFFF*CKING...think
@@jayh4911 whhhaaaa....
How could you say thhhaAAT GEESE HOWARD🎸🎸🎸🎸👊👊👊🚬🚬⚡🔥👎
hey man what is the name of the ost of last stage
Stage of Ayutaya Iseki
This is the only Game that Geese them sounds different.
Dreamcast best port?
DC >>>PS1
We need part3 CAP
I don't remember the last 3 stages...
The stages, presentations, & intros before the stages were awesome, which is something part 2 didn't have plus the stages are better than part 2 & you had more stages. Why all this wasn't in part 2 was just plain dumb. SVC Chaos was trash
From kim possible
-1:53
Did pro add any new stages or just Dan and Joe?
Just Dan and Joe and everything unlocked by default.
Startyde also Nakororu
She (Nakoruru) was in the base game but needed to be unlocked after EVERYTHING else was unlocked. Julio is right, only Dan and Joe were added to pro as well as all locked content being unlocked by default.
@@x2Madda f*ck nakoruru...
She looks like a PIECE OF SHIT
Some additional move and gameplay tweaks and balance fixes too
😮😮😮😮
why did capcom use alpha sprites for sagat and zangief?
Budget, time limit , laziness maybe?
Sakura was also an Alpha sprite. However, Morrigan's sprite took the cake on laziness
Ryu, Ken and Akuma were the only characters sprites that are exclusive
@@MB-hd6uv Dictator is a new sprite also based on his sf2 appearance
@@tiradouken2854 M. Bison right? Can tell because he uses the same stance in SF2
Estas intros solo aparecen para las versiones de arcade y de dreamcast ..en ps1 no aparecen y se torna más aburrido
they just don't make em like they used to
1:31 What game is this stage from?
I don't what game is the stage from, but it's called Stage of Osaka
It's the Osaka Stage, because of this both Capcom and SNK companies are based in Osaka, Japan
@@MB-hd6uv fuck you talking about...BITCH
@@ultrajdjsultratantrum Read my comment BITCH!!!!,It obviously explains what the fuck I'm talking about ASSHOLE!!!!
best stage ! why capcom dont remake these stage
You do realize these type of intros are possible with "cheap 3D graphics" right?
You didn't get the point
Capcom gana
crapcom
Well you didn't make a very god one! Capcom isn't creating these type of intros anymore not because they can't but because they choose not to. 3D or 2D character models be damned.
Yeah what I meant is that they decided to use lame 3D models instead of detailed sprites
Like damned... COOK TO F*CK
