Dude I came to the comments to say exactly this: The cleans from JT, especially at the end of the song are preem; I love the little flips into head voice and am really happy to see how hard he has worked on becoming honestly a great clean singer. His dirty vocals are also fantastic as always and show growth in that area as well. I love seeing the evolution of this band since Augment, it really is amazing.

As a huge ERRA fan since Andromeda, all I can say is that I am incredibly impressed and so proud of what these boys have become. They are at the pinnacle of their craft. Can't wait for this album, going to be AOTY, 100%.
I hope you're right. I thought Impulse and Augment were both outstanding, Drift was very good too but maybe a step down, and Neon was pretty underwhelming. I'm a big fan of this song though so I hope they can put it together over the full album.

Its less about dystopian technology and more a loss of identity. Identity is an important part of meaning. Tech is just one avenue they use to push this division, which is why the house of glass must be burned down, else the villains win and the heroes die.
Amazing new song. So much beautifulness in this. From the clean vocals, the heavy vocals, the rhythm, beats, drums, effects... it all blends perfectly. A true masterpiece.

never listened to Erra before.. only heard White Noise a few years ago... not a HUGE fan but still an awesome song.. but O....M....G... all these 5 new tracks are just unbelievable.. and everything from 2:22 to the end with the bass, the vocal, the melody... fucking christ thats going to be my album of the year.. this band just grew up so much in me with only a few songs !!!
I love how they're showcasing Jesse's songwriting/vocal abilities, we all know his ability to annihilate the fretboard, this is fantastic song structure. Another fucking banger boys.🔥

Man, Jessie's vocals on this track compared to older ERRA tracks. Its SO much better. Honestly though, aside from his improvement, its no where near the band as a whole. The song writing is phenomenal.
Why is Jesse such a fucking master. I started on Drift, then moved to Neon...now listening to this, and they just...keep...getting better. Mind-blowing.

I feel like this is more about how self absorbed we’ve become as a society
Its less about dystopian technology and more a loss of identity. Identity is an important part of meaning. Tech is just one avenue they use to push this division, which is why the house of glass must be burned down, else the villains win and the heroes die.
