i used to have a collection of over 150 cars i built with local hobby store contest winners that were highly detailed with brake lines shifter linkages opening carb butterflies and linkages all fuel lines and plug wires battery cables, valve stems on wheels working dipsticks air shock lines and many many other details. i had some promo cars and 500 unopened kits i had collected from the time i was 6 yrs old till i was 42 yrs old. i lost all of them to becomeing a drug addict. not asking for sympathy, just warning everyone to the powers of addiction. loved seeing your collection. brought back many great memories. i lost all the cars but still have the memories thank the lord. and thank you for shareing yours.
Thank you for deciding to come to youtube and share your passion for your hobby. I love how organized and orderly everything is, including the storage. Great stuff!!!
Thanks for sharing your collection with us. Nobody had a cooler childhood than us boomers. Model kits, slot cars, etc. Building models cars was so satisfying as kid and even into my early adulthood. Love the early 70's Pro Stocks in your collection.
Nice stuff, quality builds. I'm a big fan of 70s, Drag Racing and you've got that covered. my latest efforts are converting plastic models into 1/24th scale slot car drag cars pro mods, etc. . I'll have to post some up. Check my channel for Cox cars and other muscle car goodies. Thanks
Who remembers model motorsports in Bristol, Virginia Bristol, Tennessee. They had all the decals that guy custom made for the cars that you could not find. He also put out a set of trading cards with all the NASCAR models up to like 93 I used to love going in that place. After he lost his shop or wanted to move out, he went into a antique mall on the Virginia side of State Street and the old JC building JCPenney building. I worked at a NASCAR souvenir shop victory Lane. Exit 7 Bristol Virginia now when I was like 10 years old to 14 years old. It was awesome to love all the kids people will bring it, and people would sell Bruce to resell and love build them myself too really like the vintage ones he had up on the upper shelf.
You are a very dedicated and productive person. So many many hours you spent to create this massive collection is mindblowing! Not only that but it is done beautifully with very nice details. I'm a bit surprised about this hehe. Thank you for the tour. I could spend hours admiring and studying this collection. Have a good day and I hope you get to spend many more hours on your modelling hobby. Thor, Denmark.

That is a very impressive collection and I Love the cases and how you have everything inventoried, very well organized and awesome also that you built that stuff, I wish I had carpenter skills to build display cases like that. Thanks for sharing your collection.
Thank you for sharing your cars with us! Outstanding work for sure. I look forward to more of your videos as I think I have built a few of those models when I was a kid. Take care, Randy

Welcome to the TH-cam modeling community. This is probably the best intro video I've seen. Thank you for sharing your AWESOME collection with us. I too am a BIG fan of race cars and it's VERY refreshing to see someone else that enjoys building model cars just to be building model cars. Don't sweat the Die Cast, I dig seeing guys that modify them too. I'm DEFINTLY looking forward to seeing future videos from you showcasing all your past builds. I see another AWESOME channel in the making here. Take care and happy modeling. Don😎😎👍👍
Great models and story. You have crazy skills. My father in law was a founding member and driver for the Ramchargers. Nice to see you have a model of one of his cars. Cheers.
Great collection, can't wait to see the next video. Your car's are awesome. I think it's great how your daughter and your son are both into it with you. You are a very talented family.
The first thing I noticed at the beginning was the Red Baron behind you then way off in the distance I noticed your Little Red Wagon. Those two alone brought back so many memories very nice collection. It made my day thank you.
Great collection and terrific job on the race car builds. Just getting back into building plastic kits after many years in the RC side of the hobby. Glad to see your kids are involved and will treasure your builds for many years to come. Looking forward to your next build.
That's a great collection on display, and nice place you have there for building and storing. It's so cool that your kids got involved in the hobby with you. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing this awesome collection. You and family are very talented in capturing the detail and making it count. My favorites were the snake and mongoose funny cars.
Just Awesome! I'm more of a kit guy than a die cast guy but I was fortunate to have my "legends of racing" Ned Jarrett 65 Galaxie signed in 1995 at the Brickyard9(Ned set back in his lawn chair and looked at the car and said (Man, That sure is a good lookin' race car)I think he was feelin' it!. Great video and stuff ya got there!
HEY DAR: 👊😎👍 Bust Out A Shovel BABY cause I'm Digging It!!!! LOL. This Collection is Awesome with a capital "A" it doesn't look like you have a clear front to your built in's? I've built 180 in super custom wood cases that I built with slide in dust covers. I bet like no others have done. I think all nascar 170 plus a few 60s mopar drag cars is my limitation. Your collection is amazing!!!
😮thats awesome Awesomly done, its amazing how detailed they are , i grew up watching my dad race modifides, from the 60s to 1979 , raced a little bit myself, and grew my son up racing , now its my grandsons turn 👍 but growing up , i loved building the old model stockcars , nothing like you build , but it taught me patience and thinking, . Your collection is awesome, thank you for sharing such a talent 👊👍😎🏁
To state you have a collection of both die-cast and plastic model cars is an understatement! You have an outstanding die-cast and plastic model car collection! Thanks for posting your excellent video showing your collection too!
Hey Sir. What a great first video. I met almost half of the guys cars you have put together. Starting with Ronnie Sox, I was in the Marine Corps when I met him in Jacksonville N.C. Then I met Cale Yarborough at his Honda dealership in South Carolina. Then I met Dale Jr in North Wilkesboro when they opened that speedway up. Earnie Irvin met him. But what a great model and diecast collection you have. Those are some of the nicest cars I have ever seen. I hope you keep the video's coming. Thanks again
What a great set man I had a big collection of die cast, over 400 and sold em a few years back during a yard sale, I miss them and wish I never sold em
Outstanding collection & work sir, I am in awe... I have a lot of diecast myself in my storage locker, one day I would love display them. Oh and also, on your Dale Jr shelf, two of those cars were driven by Martin Truex Jr when he drove for Jr & Kelley's Chance 2 Motorsports before they left to join Hendrick...
Beautiful builds thanks for sharing I also build 90 % race or pro street never have done a box stock kit. Every build is, if I owned this car it would look like this. I will be enjoying your channel
You have a really awesome collection! So nice to meet you! I have diecast cars as well as models in my collection (Hot Wheels, Matchbox, etc.) The love for cars runs in my family: 1. My father was a mechanic at FedEx in Stamford CT from August 1997 until (I'm sorry to say) he passed away in April 2020 from pancreatic cancer (which he battled for 6 years). He was 61. 2. My mother, still around, actually STILL HAS her original Hot Wheels Beatnik Bandit (colored Hot Pink) and her Hot Wheels Hot Heap (colored Purple) from the original 1968 Sweet Sixteen series! Nice, you have Mongoose and Snake!!! That's impressive that the models you built as a kid survived over the years! You have really great skills in customization! Sweet, that looks like the Grave Digger that my older brother Stephen has had since he was a kid! Awesome workbench and trophies!! Overall, awesome collection here!!
Excellent video! Your model's and diecast are great. Really liked the Richard Childress driven #3 Chevelle diecast. Your display shelves are beautiful, well done. Thank you for sharing!

The first thing I ever won was a model 18-wheeler kit, and that got me hooked into collecting them. I stopped 30 years ago, but I wanting/thinking about starting up again after running across your channel. Awesome collection, and they're beautifully done, very precise, down to every detail from what I can see. Maybe for some future episodes, you can show/share some tips/tricks that you've learned over the years with us common folks! The best part that I liked is that you've got to do this with your children and together you all have won trophies and the bond has to be a wonderful feeling. I wish you only the best!
in around oh 73' or so 11-12 yrs old I built 2-3 of the same models you have of the Nascars, I know I built the David Pearson #21 the cyclone, then the AMX Mark Donohue drove for a minute, funny deal there because I entered the washington state fair with 3 entrants, one was a custom 1950 ford deluxe, one was a richard petty nascar the first year wrap around red over the A pillar, then the 3rd was the Donohue AMX.. my mom who rarely every did anything with me drove me there and paid my entry, and picked me up, I won 3rd for the baby blue Custom 50' ford deluxe... only time i ever entered during the 3-4 years ai was into it.. I built like 5 petty cars too, from early on till like 73 or the wrap around instead of the two points over the hood? I was a big petty fan as well.. the oddity is that when we drove there, she took me in her 64.5 mustang fastback, during the interim she crashed that car and it was in the shop getting fixed, he loaner was get this, an AMX so we picked up the ribbons and checks at the state fair in the AMX.. pretty cool.. . . no jokes this odd pea green red interior.. yup and it was a crazy fast car, well to me, I'm like 12 or whatever, story doesn't end there.. my brother is taking me into everette we lived out near lake stevens wa so a 25 mile drive or so, 2 of my friends came with so the car was packed 5 strong.. we pull up to a stop light on rucker and peckes drive, BOOOOM!!!! someone rear ends us at full speed+! yup, no jokes, last time I saw that car as the wrecker pulled it away, we had to thumb it home, pushed the rear end up about 6" and one wheel into the q panel, wouldn't budge... unreal... ma ended up with a get this, a Matador till the stang was repaired.. orange . . .lolololo she had lots of muscle cars, mostly tame save the 65 442, freekini unreal, my sister pegged it on a straightaway over a flat top, the freekin hood came up at about 70-80, were coming down the other side of the flat top, say 15ft high or so, 25 ft long.. she stayed on the road thank God, convertible so it was easy to see, that car vibrated the asphalt as you stood next to it, feel it in your feets.. the story of the mustang, now thats a good'n too, OMG! hilarious
WOW. What a collection! I have also thought about building in pairs: one being a race version and the other a stock version of the model. I am also looking forward to following your channel.
Thank you much for that!! I like that idea for pairs, go for it, that would be cool! I have 2 other videos out if you havnt seen those and a 4th one out later today maybe, thanks again
Hey, that is quite some collection and some nice builds. And you're organized! Every model is evenly space down to the millimeter between cars and the trophies! How did you win so many trophies even though not all are yours? Contests like the NNL's are tough to win. Any model contest is tough to win! Show us more and thanks ! 🇱🇷 🇨🇦
Thank you very much!! Trophies come from takin my kids to local contests, no NNLs. Organization comes from my carpentry skills. Thanks again, happy holidays, and stay tuned!!
Thanks for giving us the tour, I gotta watch it a couple more times just to drink it all in. Great models, equally great shelves showing off all your skills, lol. I’ve never seen such organization (your back stock). Nice tributes to your Uncles, my old man started me off back in 74. Keep modeling, brother! Again, fantastic work!
Amazing body of work, brother. You have a very nice work/ display space. I look forward to seeing more from you. I live about an hour from Knoxville Raceway and several other dirt tracks, so I love seeing the sprint cars and I noticed some late model pictures you had displayed too.🤓👍
Thank you very much!! Glad you noticed that, that whole row of pictures above display case are all autographed as well. Happy holidays and stay tuned!!

in around oh 73' or so 11-12 yrs old I built 2-3 of the same models you have of the Nascars, I know I built the David Pearson #21 the cyclone, then the AMX Mark Donohue drove for a minute, funny deal there because I entered the washington state fair with 3 entrants, one was a custom 1950 ford deluxe, one was a richard petty nascar the first year wrap around red over the A pillar, then the 3rd was the Donohue AMX.. my mom who rarely every did anything with me drove me there and paid my entry, and picked me up, I won 3rd for the baby blue Custom 50' ford deluxe... only time i ever entered during the 3-4 years ai was into it.. I built like 5 petty cars too, from early on till like 73 or the wrap around instead of the two points over the hood? I was a big petty fan as well..
the oddity is that when we drove there, she took me in her 64.5 mustang fastback, during the interim she crashed that car and it was in the shop getting fixed, he loaner was get this, an AMX so we picked up the ribbons and checks at the state fair in the AMX.. pretty cool.. . . no jokes this odd pea green red interior.. yup and it was a crazy fast car, well to me, I'm like 12 or whatever, story doesn't end there.. my brother is taking me into everette we lived out near lake stevens wa so a 25 mile drive or so, 2 of my friends came with so the car was packed 5 strong..
we pull up to a stop light on rucker and peckes drive, BOOOOM!!!! someone rear ends us at full speed+! yup, no jokes, last time I saw that car as the wrecker pulled it away, we had to thumb it home, pushed the rear end up about 6" and one wheel into the q panel, wouldn't budge... unreal... ma ended up with a get this, a Matador till the stang was repaired.. orange . . .lolololo she had lots of muscle cars, mostly tame save the 65 442, freekini unreal, my sister pegged it on a straightaway over a flat top, the freekin hood came up at about 70-80, were coming down the other side of the flat top, say 15ft high or so, 25 ft long.. she stayed on the road thank God, convertible so it was easy to see, that car vibrated the asphalt as you stood next to it, feel it in your feets.. the story of the mustang, now thats a good'n too, OMG! hilarious
Nice display. Love the trophy room and more that you do this as a family.👍👍
Thank you! Happy Holidays!
Thanks for sharing your builds. Those things are beautiful!
Thanks for watching and enjoying!
Very nice . Glad you got your family involved.
Thank you, the kids only enjoy it for a short period of their life so i am glad i got that time
Brings back fond memories of building models when I was younger. Wish I woulda stuck with it. Thanks for sharing your collection.
