Thank you Bob and Holly. I am so glad when I wake to an Innocents Abroad video on a Saturday, so glad you are back. I really appreciate your content as I will never visit the places you visit. Many, grateful thanks. Maryann from Melbourne
Nothing better than relishing the beginning of another vlog series from Bob and Holly. Excellent first episode. The music selection for the U boat tour was amazing. Your ability to match music to excursions is unbelievable. Thanks again for taking us along!
The war memorial was a very fitting tribute to those who lost their lives. As someone who suffers from claustrophobia, I have a lot of respect for the men who served on submarines.
Love the new format. It was great to see you and Holly front of the camera and give your thoughts. It was nice to see everyone from our Zoom calls in person. The naval museum was a true tribute to Fallen naval service men. One day I'll visit it. Plus, it was nice to see ken and Lindsey as well. Looking forward to the rest of your vlogs
Thank you, Arthur! We did this format on about half of our Summer cruises...it'll be good to see how it is received. The Laboe Memorial... well worth a visit no matter a 'side' one takes.!
Yeahh! Another tour video after a long break. You must have a lot of footage saved up to release! This trip will provide a trip down memory lane for me - in 2003, we did a Baltic cruise on the Cunard Caronia (formerly Vistafjord, later Saga Ruby). We sailed through the Kiel Canal, but did not get a port stop in Kiel, so I was interested to see what we missed there.
@@idl9ave419 Glad you enjoyed it! You’re right, other than the odd ship and room tour, the last actual Vlog series would have been Seabourn Sojourn and I’m pretty sure that ended in June. It’s awesome that you’ve been through the canal, and yes if you get back to Kiel, that memorial site is amazing to go to. Regarding footage, you may have seen the post on our community tab in TH-cam where we were gone for 120 days from early April through early August, so even if we didn’t go on another cruise, yes, we have footage through mid 2026 😂
Thank you for a very informative video. We will been Aurora next year on an itinerary very similar to what you did. Looking forward to the coming episodes.

We really enjoyed it. As to serving on a sub - I could not do it; just too much time contained (75-90 day patrols).
Great information, wonderful video shots and very interesting history. Looking forward to watching the next episode 👏
Glad you enjoyed it! We loved Kiel, especially how they honored their veterans.

I think Otis will love next week's episode - lots of Huskies barking ❤🤣
@@InnocentsAbroad Otis will be enraptured, so will have to make sure to watch it on the big screen for him to fully enjoy!
