Just bought a Aifen A9-Pro, i used a weller station for years but it's 220v and i live in a 110v was using a ts100 it's rubbish. Compared to the weller it's even more precise, but I'm using original tips.
After you place the eeprom in the adapter you need to keep the eeprom pressed with a screwdriver as you push read button and you will not have pin errors anymore (always works for me and i use it a lot). The adapter does not apply suficient force to press the eeprom to make good contact.

Ive seen some that are a little devide almost looking like an old cellphone and i personally dont like them, so one with computer or phone software was what i was loocking for.
