That's a good point about weddings being delayed and focusing on that niche. I've had a Cricut business for a few years and weddings and baby gifts were always my top sellers, too!

I love all of these items. I am just starting out and have decided that I am most interested in glass items and stickers (elementary teacher so I love stickers) with a few other items. I love the idea of making onesie’s and the wedding industry is huge so thanks for sharing. Great video and RIGHT TO THE POINT!!

I am so excited to get my taxes to get a circuit and a notebook binding machine! My husband is our only source of income and I am a stay at home momma and homeschool my daughters aged 5 and 8, but I have to start making money and I can't just go get a job lol. I really want to start a stationary/ crafting with circuit business. I just bought a circut for my wedding diys. I ordered some things from Etsy that I could have been made with the circut so I decided to just start making my own diys for my wedding. Don't think I'll make it into a business but it's fun
that's so exciting! I'm using mine for my upcoming wedding as well. You never know where your crafts can lead to, business or not! Just have fun with it

I have a sticker shop and have a hard time selling them. I think it’s just hard to get noticed but I enjoy making them :)
definitely look into advertising more! (Social media helps alot too!)
Not sure if you’ve already tried it, but try posting on tiktok. Post the process of making the stickers. A lot of people like to see that. Also, boxing the stickers

Okay so I have a very complicated relationship my parents. My grandmother is my hero, my rock, my everything. She passed away last year. My parents rarely buy me a Christmas gift but last year they bought me a Cricut. I literally rolled my eyes. 😅 I've used it a few times here and there but never consistently. My husband and my teen sons have all encouraged me to start my own business since I love to craft. Since watching this video, I think they might be one to something! Thank you for sharing this information and inspiring me to actually use my Cricut. 🙂

What is the design space you use to make your stickers ? And have you don't heat transfer stickers for shirts
Love the inspiration: When it comes to stickers I'm challenged with getting CDS and my Cricut Air to calibrate so my stickers don't cut out properly. I make a lot of cake toppers, etching and cards.
make sure that you are in a well-lit room (if your cricut is in a dark room it might not be able to scan it properly)

I personally would make separate shops for different niches, but it also depends on the niches! You can maybe somehow connect them with products :)

3:10 My wife works at a wedding venue here in Florida. I hate to say it, but they are having LESS weddings after 2020 and 2021 here. I Don't know if other states are different, but here a lot of the wedding venues are struggling to stay open. My wife is basically working 1 or 2 days a week now. The wedding venue had an open house recently trying to get more clients, and they only got 3 new weddings booked after spending thousands of dollars on the open house (people went there for the free food, basically). If you are going to do wedding stuff, don't invest a lot of money on materials. Just buy whatever you need for the listing on etsy and buy as you get orders.
That's so shocking! I basically have a wedding every other weekend here in NY 🙃 but I guess this all depends on the state you reside in! I also heard that 2022 broke the record of having the most weddings in a year since 1984!
