Associação Inércia and Load ZX Spectrum Museum invite you to come to
the Load ZX Spectrum Museum in Cantanhede, Portugal on 4-5 May 2024 to attend Synergy 2024, an event dedicated to the ZX Spectrum.
We will have:
- International guests
- Demoscene competitions
- Workshops
- Other surprises for ZX Spectrum fans
Confirmed presences for the international talks include Pete Wheelhouse,
the legendary ZX Spectrum developer, talking about his classic videogame
Formula 1 with the team involved on the recent MODs to the game.
We will also have the team behind DivIDE present, giving a presentation
on the project and available to answer questions.
Demoscene competitions will focus on the ZX Spectrum with categories for ZX Spectrum graphics, ZX Spectrum music, ZX Spectrum 256 byte intros and ZX Spectrum demo. We'll also have a wild category screening any other party submissions that should be shown on the big screen.
You can also submit remote entries.
Other things you can expect at Synergy 2024 will be free access to visit
the LOAD ZX Spectrum museum, television screens showing past ZX Spectrum demos, a Weck Le Mans tournement, workshops for creating music, pixel art or creative coding for the ZX Spectrum, a livecoding session of visuals using z80 assembler and a few other things that we can't yet announce.
The majority of the event will be livestreamed and recorded to be uploaded
to TH-cam later on.
