I love Scrap videos! And making new things with my scrap. The other day i liked my Scrap designs better than the original ones they came from! 😮😅 thanks for sharing yours!
Great video, thanks. My favorite was the sliced snake squiggles on the solid base...very cool. Also, just in case you didn't know...the last one you did is called a Stroppel cane. One more thing...don't discriminate against the chunky beads!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have learned so much from watching your videos. I always end up with way to many shades of brown. I absolutely loved your idea on finally using up some of my muddy clay scraps. I seem to get lots of dark blue scraps also, got any ideas for those? Gray granite is my all time favorite way to lighten up dark scraps.
Thanks Holly! Dark blue is interesting! Mine are usually more on the purple side! I guess I use a lot of pinks! I’ve got a bunch of other ideas- so I’ll do a part 2 in a few weeks! And yes- granite is awesome! I use it so much!
Scrap clay has 2 names for me, dirty scrap and scrap clay. I call some dirty scrap because they're the bits you get from digging debris from out clay while sculpting, also the clay you get when you scrape buildup clays from off pasta machine scrapers. The regular scrap clays is just the excess ends from off projects with the colors touching, like the ends of canes. I usually use the dirty scrap to build out projects so i won't have to use as much of the colors, and when i run out of those then i go into the regular scrap clay. I find that even if i keep the ones riddles with too much dirt inside clean clays i never end up wasting any clay. Originally i was going to place them all in one container but i forgot about how pretty clay beads look in scrap clays so ill have to store them separately because dirty scrap is way too annoying to clean.
Just found u today, I love your video's. You are clear and helpful. Much appreciated. I wish your shop shipped to NZ!

So, it's not necessary to condition the scraps more than you showed?
It depends on how soft and workable they are. If they’ve been sitting around a while and have become quite firm they may need a bit more.
Merci bien ❤
