We Got New Pets!! New Family Pets for Trinity and Madison! It's So Fluffy!!! It was finally time to get something to put in our new cage that the girls got for Christmas! Of course they wanted guinea pigs and we couldn't get just one so each girl got to pick out their own. We got two girl guinea pigs and Trinity picked hers out first! On our way home, Trinity's guinea pig decided to pee on her. Madison picked hers out a couple days later at the other pet store. So we now have two new pet guinea pigs and we absolutely love them!

Guinea pigs are great little pets. To all of you out there who want one, please consider checking the local small animal shelters before buying one at a big box store. There are millions of loving piggies out there who need homes. The ones at the stores are often from breeders. Breeding animals when there are already so many available is just wrong.

Don’t chase the Guinea pigs they will be scarde of you you should leave them alone for at least 5 days then you may start getting used to hanging out with them

Guinea pigs are not at all like rats! They are amazing animals! I have 2 Guinea pigs they make happy sounds when I come in to the room l and they get all happy for treats! There not like rats at all!❤ There kinda like dogs they love chin scratches and hate being alone my Guinea pigs don’t like fruit at all so we have vitamins for them the love vegetables tho

Two tips: 1: GET A BIGGER CAGE 2: don’t get pets from pet shops. They get there hamsters by breeding and breeding even if they are sick so try to get them to the vet for a checkup and next time adopted one from a person

I guarantee that the adopted Guinea pig is from a pet store. Thats why I don’t see the logic behind adopting a non cat or dog pet, with some exceptions.

i’m glad that they got 2 guinea pigs so they can bond, but the children were trying to pet them way to soon, they were also petting their butts, don’t do that they will think you are trying to hurt them bc they are prey animals

Things that are wrong
You didn't do any researches before buying them
The cage is very small
You didn't set their cages before buying them
You didn't give them time to get used to you
You suppose to let them be in their cage for 2-3 days before touching them
You suppose to be quite because they can get stressed

I got Guinea pigs recently and the people said that u have to pick them up and stuff to get them used to your sent and being played with

yea these vids are actually sad, im getting guinea pigs in march or early april 2024 and im 13 but its a thought abouy decision (parents included) and now im doing research when im not in school, but idk what cage size is big enough for two
@@blu3b3rry_muffins I used to have 5 guinea pigs and the reccomended cage size for 2 is 26-30 inches as the width and 50-60 inches length if u have more space that's great, but any smaller isn't good. If u need any reccomendations, Guineadad cages are great and what I used for my first pigs

C&C cages are the best cages for space and price.
Also, males are fine together as long as they’re paired young. I have two males and they get along just fine.

@@ELIZABETHWILLIAMS-mu9rhit’s true, it’s not called being rude too. I am not a Guinea pig owner I’m a rabbit owner and even I know screaming or yelling near a pet is dangerous or scary to them. Also the cage was a bit small. Also it seems like one day they just picked a pet to buy doing little to no research without is really bad because they won’t be able to notice when it’s sick or don’t know how to act or behave around the Guinea pig which was demonstrated throughout the video. Like I said it’s not called being, “Rude” it’s called stating the truth.
You haven’t done enough research and the cage is definitely too small. Also you should definitely set up the cage before you bring home a guinea pig.

yes. i have one guinea pig ( i am getting another one lol) and he lives in a rabbit cage. even thats getting to small fort he little critter so I'm buying a c&c cage for him. and also the hay that they have put in is horrible.
Yeah٫ they cant always try to hold them. The guinea pigs need to get used to them first. And they all are making way too much noise around them for the first time.

Some of the comments on here are so ignorant They just started off with the animals You don't go buying huge cages and stuff right away You work your way into making the animals life better People are not made of money Just because they have a TH-cam channel doesn't mean they have a lot of money either and after spending money on two animals plus whatever else they need to start off it's going to be very expensive clearly some of you people don't know how animal care works you start off light and then you start your way up bigger and bigger

@@buraikhakhadar5693 Although Guinea pig cages in pet shops say they're good for guinea pigs, a rabbit cage can even be too small for 2-3 piggies. thats why it is best to get a very large cage if you want two.

ok so, I have a hamster got her a couple of weeks ago, I know it’s not the same as a Guinea pig, but, if you get another one I recommend not petting her or holding her until a week or less. Also, if you get another one get them 2 cages or just a bigger cage.

I once got 2 guniea pigs... turns out it was boy and a girl.... got them for my kids... we got an enclosure... we went to play with them, everything was normal until the next morning my kids saw the guy pig get on top of the girl pig (we know what this means).... I had to lie about what they where doing... until my plan was failed when baby guniea pigs came out... darn.
