It's been a busy Sunday for me but I'll be visiting everyone. This makes me fel warm as it's snowing heavily tomorrow. I guess schools might be closed. A few airports closed already. I wish I could jump in and be at the warm beach in Costa rica. What lovely birds and reptiles. So glad to see areas that have not had trees stripped by the hand of man.stripped thereby robbing wildlife of their habitats.
Very happy to read you could forget about the snow for a while. One thing we most definitely don't miss from Holland is the cold winters. Or cold in general. The only snow we like to see is on a screen. It is really great to see how the shores and beaches here are not stripped. So different from most touristic countries. It's such a better and nicer view, plus you get to enjoy all that wildlife everywhere you go.
You're so fortunate to enjoy the sun, surf and warm weather during the cold months of December in USA. Your selection of beaches look very inviting and you got some great shots during your travels
Oh absolutely. With the dry season around the corner (starting end of this month), we are eager to spend as much time at and around the beaches as possible. The water is nice and warm and the tropical vibe of these beaches is ever so much inviting. As we both don't like the cold, this is ideal for us. It was great to fly the drone again as it has been a while. And it's a nice add to our own stock footage collection we have been building up during our travels.
Even more stunning Costa Rican beaches 🇨🇷 ⛱️ ! Brilliant views and drone footage. I'm interested to see what Christmas is going to be like in Costa Rica!
Well not white, that's for sure. Unless you count one of these white sanded beaches of course. It is odd though going though December in your shorts, coming from a place like Holland. The only time we actually enjoy watching snow is on a TV screen... from Costa Rica! 😄
Hadn't notices the snowman pillar, going to rewatch and look for it. Thanks for pointing it out. 😄 The palms on the beach really a great touch to that tropical vibe. Nothing like an ocean view sunset. Thanks for joining us, on this trip see you then!
It is indeed! We want to explore this area more and spend more time at those beaches as well. Aiming for a long term housesit begin next year. 😊 I was so happy to fly the drone as we hadn't been able for a while. But we sure make up for it for the rest of this series. 😉
Thank you for the video. Next time you visit that area, you have to go to Playa Grande just north of Tamarindo. Beautiful beach where you can walk for miles. My favorite beach.
Thanks for the tip. We are definitely planning on returning to revisit the Nicoya peninsula this upcoming dry season and stay longer to explore and enjoy more places. We will check out Playa Grande while being there. 😊
Absolutely! We are so grateful being able to follow our dreams and explore this country in depth. Indeed just when you think to have seen the most beautiful place, the next one waits around the corner. And we still have plenty to come during this road trip series. 😄
And thank you for the tip. 😊 Looking forward to go back and find out for ourselves. Hopefully we return to the Nicoya peninsula in January, when our current house sit ends.
I covered Santa Teresa beach and places like Montezuma in other individual videos. This particular video was merely a trip along a few of the beaches during our road trip. I will later on make a more complete video, including more beaches such as Santa Teresa and also more in depth videos on the Nicoya peninsula itself as we will be going back there soon. Thanks for watching. 😊

The sand on those beaches is amazing! Loved the drone footage 👍

Great drone shots too 😊 I love the perspective drone photography gives
Thanks so much! It really is a huge asset. Especially seeing the different landscapes as we go along. Nothing like a bird eye view. 😄
I’m an early bird 😊
Than you can enjoy most of the wildlife here as they have their breakfasts. 😄
You’re missing the best beaches on the Nicoya Peninsula….Santa Teresa area.
