My best tip for late game leveling is to get the highest level kitsun you can and take it to the snow biome. This is easier if you boost your pal spawn rate but running around the snow destroying mammorest cryst with your fire type pal is a extremely fast way to level not only yourself but any pal you add to your party
I think it's very important to also talk about the breeding stats. Hp, atk and def are also random when breeding. Edit: the stats don't change much from one breed to another. Only from Alpha to breed
That's the oh imma throw away more than a couple hours of my life for 1-5% Stat diff. Unless we get a comp format I wouldn't waste too much time on it. Lifmunk effigies are incredibly bugged right now, they DO NOT increase the catching rate of pals but instead reduce it. Hopefully it will get emergency patched.
You forgot something. Some pals have skills that passively boost other pals in the party of the same type. Hootcrates with dark, Cremis with normal, etc and those passives can get higher through pal condensing.
Another tip is that when breeding for combat pals, it's best to get a few pals with the "perfect" passives because the base stats vary. Get like 4-5, then put them in a party and level them to like Level 15, then compare the stats between them all and pick the best one.

It is so easy if you start off with only one skill on the initial parents. Say Anubis for example. You have one with artisan and another with serious. Breed these two until you have both skills and only those skills. If you get lucky and get one with another skill you are looking for use that instead but you want to take that two skill Anubis and breed with another single skill Anubis. Even if you have an Artisan Anubis, and a Setious Anubis with no other skills each. There's still a chance that the children will incubate with 1, both, or neither of the skills.
