They changed the way debuffs work, unless you have a skill that applies poison or some other option (like poison in the skill tree, bleed to poison etc.) you will not be offered any poison passives. Fragility passive also seems to be fully gone. They are also now available as uncommon, quality standard seems kind of broken with these changes tbh.
The chaining passives are definitely my favourite part of the update. Very fun game, got into it like 2 weeks ago because it was available with death must die in a bundle and its kept me hooked so hard I havent even tried DMD yet 😂

I'll have to get back into this. Last time I played it seems like they nerfed some stuff so I stopped winning on the hard difficulty.

31:39 most complaints I've seen about the update have been about the XP nerfs
Oh my god this is utter chaos
From what I was hearing the problems were access to endless mode and boss rush and exp fall off. The new boss spawn is too slow and the enemy kill counter doesn't restart until all boss are dead. Before, if you took too long to kill the bosses but got the enemy kills the next round of bosses would spawn in with the limit of 5 bosses at a time. This makes accessing endless and boss rush impossible for certain builds. I personally didn't notice the exp drop off.
the exp drop off is really tough, at some point you just feel like you cant level up anymore
Liking this isn’t controversial, this is the alpha. They made it so all bosses spawned one at a time. Runs took around an hour on high curse. At CL 7, you could disable it, but many people didn’t have it unlocked yet, so it took ages.
Soulstone Survivors is utter chaos but thats exactly what attracted me to this game. Its crack, Personified. I never understand what is going on, I just love it. Thats it lmao xD

hey Dex, habe mal eine Frage. habe eben dein video gesehen und wollte direkt auch wieder zocken. doch bemerkte ich, das das monkey update bei mir nicht mehr vorhanden ist. habe das game deinstalliert und danach wieder installiert. aber dennoch fehlt mir das letzte update. hatte es bei relese schon gezockt und fand den monkey echt nice. kein plan warum bei mir das nicht mehr funktioniert. vielleicht kannst du mir da weiter helfen. lg
You have to enroll into the beta channel (the update got reversed as stated in the video)
If people want to play the full release they still can: Steam > Right click the game > Properties > Betas > Beta Participation (dropdown box) > newbeginning - New Beginning update
Soulstone is definitely one of the best in this genre.
I like that the devs rolled the update back... I'm just skeptical that it was slammed so quickly by 'fans'. I remember much of the game's balancing being quite dull since you could blindly slam ailments and win w/o having to care much about your weapons. Eh, guess we'll see where this all ends up.
It got slammed so quickly because people who spent time playing the pre release of the update on the beta branch gave their feedback and were surprise that the update still released despite the overwhelming concerns

There's an opt in option in the properties.
