Hey Dex, in case you reading this, the debuffs are only offered if you pick the rune mentioned by you or if you have a skill that applies one of the debuffs. If you have a poison skill then you will get offered the perks that all your skills can poison and that position does more damage. I think there is a third one that the dots do a percentage of their damage instantly when applied. Also you get access to related dots like doom with poison since most of the debuff chains are still there. The debuffs also can have a higher rarity now (at least I have seen green). Hope that helps.

Honestly, the only thing that really pulled me in about this game is the fact that by the end of it I can't even differentiate any attack animations precisely. Its extremely migraine inducing and I love it to death xD.
Like how at 18:00s, I can't even make out the Earthquake attack animation because Expansive Staff is too overpowering.

verry nice build, its realy easy to achive and play, but extreamly strong. got to infinity 8 with it without any worries. its also fun to play and doesnt need a lot of lategame stuff. I really enjoied it, pls more of that!

hey dex have you played either Rogue Genesia or Artifact Seeker they have such a kool mix of horde mechanics and the randomness of roguelike games with branching paths and stuff highly recommend

The game seems very fun but from what I'm hearing the previous version was much better. Gotta have to see what the devs do to decide if I'll be getting this -when the sale hits-

Speaking just for myself, the only thing I didn't like about the updated version was every match taking longer due to the way boss spawns work

Yea, I'm kinda conflicted. On one side I started to enjoy it a lot more that the game doesn't become utter chaos and you just have to turn off transparency, always. But on the other side I miss the insane strength growth and numbers going big. I really hope they add the old version in as additional mode, but do end up sticking to what they have right now because it's a lot less headache inducing. Then finetuning things that feel off is obviously still possible, but without making the modes too similar

They have reverted the changes from this current patch(I'm sure you already knew) because of the backlash associated with the changes. While I liked them the xp/lvl nerf was pretty hard and diminished alot of the opness of playing, while I get they don't want every run to be a steamroll changing it all at once was not the greatest idea
