Just visited here today. It’s crazy and a little sad to see how much the freeze we had last month changed everything from just a few months ago. It’s still a beautiful, serene place to visit, just much different than it was when you filmed. Thanks for preserving it as it was.
One reason why there are very few plants of real distinction is that there are people who come in to dig up (steal) plants that they want. I've see them often and they are bold. No guards to prevent this. No enclosing fence and admission gate to control crowds.
2 questions since the google reviews are taking forever (prolly here too) but does 1, is it open at nights and are there any lights and 2, do i have to pay for parking?
I don’t know about visiting at night since I’ve never been after dark, there is a free small Parking lot on the front, and a larger also free parking lot on the side. It’s easy to spot.
@@angelogolde4035 Yes, no actual details or plant species that would make it Japanese. If you want to see a Japanese garden in SA, go to the Botanical Center (Funston at New Braunfels).

I’d say come around may. When I went it looked just like this but it’s going to look different if you come at the end of summer to early winter

Is this free on the weekends? Because it makes no since to me that it says pay and then no pay, so I am very confused
I believe it’s free at all times
I've never had to pay.
I know this is a late comment but hopefully someone sees it but is there any sitting areas in the garden?
Yes there are. Great for a peaceful moment
Do i have to make any reservations to go? Or can i just show up and its free?
No reservation, just go anytime for free
Can you walk on top of the waterfall

@@anu_start what????
Chinese and Japanese tea gardens are separate things and have subtle differences. This is definitely a Chinese garden though.
