For the longest time I'd thought I'd imagined this show but thankfully there's proof it existed! Used to love watching this with my sister as little kids, on Treehouse TV. What a good blast from the past :)
Omg i thought I was the only one, my boyfriend and family said i was crazy but I know it existed! I spent a good 9 years searching for it and now i can finally rest, or shove it in my family’s face that i wasn’t hallucinating 😂🎉
I have been looking for this for so long. I was 9 back when this aired, but I swear I had convinced myself that I had imagined this. I remember Arty Art, and the HandyMen!
Me too!! I literally have been trying to remember this show for years. I could remember the 64 zoo lane intro song and that it was a part of some bigger variety show but couldn't remember what the heck it was. Hearing this theme song finally made it all come back to me ahh
I was beginning to think I was going crazy and that this show never existed! my brothers and I loved this show when we were kids! None of my friends have ever known what I was talking about when I mentioned if they watched it too as a kid. And I have never been able to find anything with a Google search. Man, I'd love to watch some full episodes
FINALLY I THINK I MIGHT DIE FROM THE NOSTALGIA! Isn't it strange how literally all of us were convinced that we made this memory up? I had always known about watching 64 Zoo Lane, but I had this strange memory of the weird hands... finally somebody told me what the hands were and now it's led me to THIS and it's like this piece of my existence was hidden for so long!!!
Oh man, this brings back memories. I remember hearing the Howdy Doody theme song in my teenage years and thinking it sounded familiar, yet I hadn't grown up on Howdy Doody. This is it though! It's the same theme but with different lyrics. Thanks for uploading this piece from my childhood I had forgotten about until today.
I used to watch that on Treehouse T.V. Some what when I was probably 7 or something like that. It's good to hear that tune again. I loved watching Budgie the Little Helicopter on that show.
I can't remember for sure but I think it aired at 4. I recall Zaboomafoo was just before it or maybe after. I actually kinda hated the song because there were segments where it seemed to drag forever, and the seals as mountains kinda freaked me out.
I clicked on this after watching a "Old Treehouse VHS" rip and my memory suddenly remembered this. I must have been freaking 3 but for some reason the second it showed up I instantly knew I had seen it before.
I used to watch this with my dad before school when I was about 4! For some reason no one I talked to watched it... I felt like I daydreamed it or something but my dad remembered it too! Now I know it's real. I'll need to show him this.
I remember this show, and I've been watching a lot of intros of old canadian kids shows, and I have come to the conclusion that canadian children's television is basically if every kids show was candle cove (in the sense that you only vaguely remember it until you see it and you sometimes even question if it's real or not.)
You want Canadian Candle Cove? Remember Pirates? With the weird CGI pig and those creepy masks on the kid characters? I spent years tracking that down!
I vividly remember this show despite being only 5 when it premiered. I loved watching this show with my younger brother. I liked The Handymen and Animal Shelf a lot. My brother liked Art to Art with Arty Art. We never really liked Charlie & Mimmo for some reason.
It's Itsy Bitsy Time was pulled from Fox Family a few years ago when 20th Century Fox Film Corporation (through The itsy bitsy Entertainment Company) refused to air a show for preschoolers. REST IN PEACE, IT'S ITSY BITSY TIME. I miss watching this (just before I go to Creekside Intermediate School just as each episode of "The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley" or "You're Invited to Mary-Kate & Ashley's" was about to end) since Fox Family was brought by Buena Vista and renamed ABC Family (now Freeform). I also miss the old Hasbro toy commercials that aired in the middle of the show (along with the old Hasbro toy promo which aired before the commercials).
I noticed that there's some episodes of Animal Shelf and Tom and Vicky, but they're the British versions. The ones in Itsy Bitsy Time were dubbed with Canadian/American English. I remember after kindergarten watching Zaboomafoo and this show (I think it aired around 4PM). Also I recall seeing that Charlie & Mimmo aired in Taiwan, dubbed in Chinese on "YoYo TV".
I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS SHOW FOR YEARS!!!! The intro song was a mumbled mess stuck in my brain. One scene from one episode has haunted my dreams for YEARS (when the gloves put scotch tape on a blown up balloon and stick a needle through without popping it) I CAN FINALLY REST, MY JOURNEY HAS ENDED!!!!
I was in High School about this time and before High School when I woke up and ate my cereal I would watch one episode of this. Why? I loved this intro. After I would drive my self to 1st period.
I've been trying to remember this! I only remember the intro, closing credits and Smarty Arty (with Luigi Boccherini: Minuetto playing). I'm glad I finally remember what the show was called! It's always been bugging me remembering something very obscure in your childhood only to randomly pop up back into your adulthood. Now, I can finally put this mystery to rest!! ^^
I completely forgot about this show until i was humming this tune one day and my mom reminded me about it. I still don't remember it very well, but as soon as I saw that hand I realized, "I definitely remember that". Wonder if I can find more clips to jog my memory...
QUICK! List all the TV shows, game shows, and movies u can remember from your past! Upload them to YT as well! U can help me and everyone else worldwide restore their childhoods! The Bittles, Treetown, Corduroy, Charley and Mimmo, Busgie the Little Helicopter, ZZZap!, Ants in Your Pants, Mighty Machines, Bob the Builder, Wee 3, Barbie Thumbelina, etc. DO IT! We need you to help! YES! *YOU!* I don't care what language they're in, JUST DO IT! We need our childhood back in ALL languages, English! Chinese! Etc.
a bittles episode was found and uploaded, some treetown stuff has been uploaded, a user named lickity split has every episode of ants in your pants and is uploading them all
Dude! I loved this show so much! I would call home to tell my parents I didn’t feel good just to watch this show! 😂 I actually have some of the episodes on vhs
My younger sister was 2 when she watched this and at first, whenever she started seeing that hand, she started to cry so much and I later found out that it was because she was scared of this character named Arty Art. But as time passed by, she started fearing him less and less and eventually became comfortable with the show.
Arty Art (whom I used to call the "Itsy Bitsy Man" used to scare the heck out of me as a little kid! I had so many nightmares about him and would always make sure my parents shut my bedroom door tight, afraid that he would come and take me!
what was the cartoon that they breifly showed the title to before being cut off? charlie something? didnt that get its own spin off? i sware i seen that before

Before i play the video im going to make this post to see how much of the theme song i actually remember from childhood: Its itsy bitsy time, its itsy bitsy time, its time to laugh and sing, its time to dance and sing, something something something, its a good time today hooray!
I’m the opposite of everyone. I only remembered the theme song but never any of the shows. I mean I must have watched them if remembered the song for so long.
I swear he showed his face once. He had clown face paint on and one of those red noses though. I asked a friend if he remembered it or if i was crazy, and he also recalled it. But neither of us know why or when he did. Anyone else remember? 🤔🤷🏻♀️
My least favourite part of the show was the theme and credits because it dragged on so long. Also the green seals gave me the creeps and the tent looked like it would explode.
Finally! I have been searching for "the white glove show" for years! Used to watch this show before pre-school back in 2001!
me tooooooo

Me too!! I literally have been trying to remember this show for years. I could remember the 64 zoo lane intro song and that it was a part of some bigger variety show but couldn't remember what the heck it was. Hearing this theme song finally made it all come back to me ahh
The disembodied arms along with the fact that the tent is empty always unsettled me, lol.
I was beginning to think I was going crazy and that this show never existed! my brothers and I loved this show when we were kids! None of my friends have ever known what I was talking about when I mentioned if they watched it too as a kid. And I have never been able to find anything with a Google search. I'm sitting here trying to figure out if I remember this show, or if I'm just telling myself that I remember this show.
I remember a segment with stuffed animals. It was stop-motion. There was a female giraffe, a female lamb, and I think a male monkey.
I remember this show when I was a baby!
literally just blew my mind by seeing arty art for the first time in forever. I thought I dreamt that crazy frenchman up as a baby lmao
I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS SHOW FOR YEARS!!!! The intro song was a mumbled mess stuck in my brain. One scene from one episode has haunted my dreams for YEARS (when the gloves put scotch tape on a blown up balloon and stick a needle through without popping it)

I only have a vague memory of this show. I think I was in the 3rd grade when it was on.
I completely forgot about this show until i was humming this tune one day and my mom reminded me about it. I still don't remember it very well, but as soon as I saw that hand I realized, "I definitely remember that". Wonder if I can find more clips to jog my memory...

Childhood memories. Especially 64 Zoo Lane!
Arty Art (whom I used to call the "Itsy Bitsy Man" used to scare the heck out of me as a little kid! I had so many nightmares about him and would always make sure my parents shut my bedroom door tight, afraid that he would come and take me!
Whenever I searched for this show I always searched for the song Ta Ra Ra Boom De Ay because I forgot the lyrics to this theme song lol

Does anybody have recordings of Animal Shelf and Tom and Vicky? All the ones on TH-cam are the British dubs!
This PreSchool Show Aired On Fox Family And Treehouse TV
The only thing I could ever remember of this show to search it is the theme song.. come to find out thats also the name.. smh
3:39. "To be free to learn, children need to be free to dream!"
Where does this quote come from?
That was likely someone within Itsy Bitsy Entertainment coming up with that "quote." Notice the trademark symbol.
Where’s the Hasbro logo?!
I swear he showed his face once. He had clown face paint on and one of those red noses though. I asked a friend if he remembered it or if i was crazy, and he also recalled it. But neither of us know why or when he did. Anyone else remember? 🤔🤷🏻♀️
Segments:
Charley & Mimmo
Tom & Vicky
The Animal Shelf
64 Zoo Lane
Budgie The Little Helicopter
Zzzap
From Tom & Vicky to ZZZap!
why did it cancel?
Say kids, what time is it?
(Tell me this is not the only comment saying this)
My least favourite part of the show was the theme and credits because it dragged on so long. Also the green seals gave me the creeps and the tent looked like it would explode.
Lost media?
Oh shit am I really this old?
Lol but this video is kinda traumatizing because of everything repeating loll
