I'm a software developer who's just come in on an information system for cryo-EM and I hoping round various Universities' online learning to try to get more or less up to speed on EM applications. A lot of this went over my head (I dropped out of Biology and Chemistry in what you'd call high school to concentrate on CS) but it was still really helpful. This is a plus side of universities and their professor's putting educational material online... the rest of us can "grab it" too.
Frankly, with all the racism nepotism, sexism, and ongoing homophobia, I would no longer mention that prize. Not to mention the fact that they hold on that chair for a lifetine! Literally, that prize for us has become synonymous of Discrimination, Disintegration of scientific integrity, and I EQUALITY. Among younger generations, there's plenty of effort to replace it with something that at least resembles integ, equality, and IMPARTIALITY!
