Thank you Ricky, I had my permanent SCS 3 weeks ago. Getting about 70% coverage of my pain, so very happy so far. Your videos are so uplifting. Thank you and stay well. Regards Lynn McKenney in Tucson AZ 😊

Don’t forget that not all technicians who reprogram are created equal. Since getting my SCS I have lived in two difference States. They differ so much. One wanted me to turn it off at night. Where I live now they say NEVER turn it off unless necessary. For almost a year I was wayyyyy over stimulated and I told them that. They kept trying to convince me they knew what was best for me no matter what I was saying. I finally begged for a “low” program. It’s much better. I am 19 months post op (permanent) and I’m finally starting to feel a little better. A few times the rep told me there wasn’t anymore they could do. I didn’t believe that. I have the Boston scientific Alpha 16 IPG. Good luck - never stop fighting for less pain

Not being reprogrammed since February is great news. That means you are doing well. Next month will be your 2 year SCS anniversary, right? Blessings to you and your family!

Hey there. I’m on the 1rst stages of heading twords scs. Talked with doc, next is in 11 days have to get a physiologist eval, then head twords the trial stage. Been a long time coming. I am fused from t10 to ilium. And three knee replacements, doc said we’ll see how it goes and might be able to hit the knee pain also. That would be great. Thanks for putting out these videos. 🤙🤙🫵

I had a SCS implanted Dec.12, 2023. I have been keeping a daily log of my pain level and any adjustments to the stimulation level that I make. Are you able to separate or move your zones or areas of coverage yourself? I am to see the doc and rep in a week. I think they have my areas overlapping as I get a pinpoint burn in one location somedays.

Hello Fred, thanks for watching for sharing journey and for your question. I'm not able to change my coverage zones. The reps are the only ppl who can change your coverage areas. Once I find an effective program, I save it to an empty slot and I don't bother it. Boston Scientific has a really good app called pain scale. It logs your pain, areas and you can share.ypjr logs with your doctors. It's called "Pain Scale" and it's made by Boston Scientific. It's free and ad free

Sure Joseph, I have no problem with that. I'm also open to collaborate on a cross channel live streaming at some point. I will give you a holler via fb group.

I always tell people it's a lot like Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan because the rep has never felt what it's like they're just going off what they've been told so it's like a blind person trying to explain color to another blind person

#bingo... When you help them find that sweet spot 🥳 it will be very beneficial for you. I have like 12 of 16 programs but I've been sitting on two of those for months. I'm practically pain free today 🍻
