I just laughed out loud at the Edna mode clip 😂😂😂 & I couldn’t agree with you more about being annoyed at that theme in Dangerous Beauty. I probably rolled my eyes a few times while reading those bits.
I have no idea how I’m just finding your channel! I’m loving this video! I’ve been wanting to read Dear Henry, Love Edith and loved hearing your thoughts on it! I know that one seems to have such mixed reviews!
Hi Celestria! It's so disappointing that Yesterday wasn't good. From your description, the book sounded like it had potential. I also enjoy a good time traveling book. Thank you ever so much for sharing your reading journey with us!
Oh, dear, I have A Silent Prince and now I’m scared. 👀 Licking things, seriously?!?! I don’t know whether to run away or crack up laughing. 😬🤣 I ended up not doing the Olympics readathon just because nothing I read fit for anything, lol. I think I do better with month long readathons rather then ones that only run for a week.
Yes re third act breakup! I just finished a historical fiction where I was totally expecting it, but it didn't happen (mostly due to a twist that the author didn't seem to telegraph at all, but, y'know. Baby steps). I was so relieved!
In talking about the dangerous beauty male pet peeve of yours, I’ve sadly known someone like that, who was so scared they would end up like their father, it’s really sad. It doesn’t make any sense but seeing it in person really broke my heart. Great video though girl!💗
@@Celestria oh no your fine!! I used to think the same thing!! It was so sad realizing someone could actually believe something irrational like that with no basis about themselves.
Humorous Fantasy.............is my favorite!!! So I recently read Welcome to Fae Cafe and it was GREAT! I haven't had time to continue the series yet, but the first one was EXCELLENT. And not pure fantasy, but Humorous Urban Fantasy are all the trilogies in KM Shea's Magiford Series. The first trilogy is Hall of Blood and Mercy (begins with the book Magic Forged) and I am sooooo sad that it's not read and talked about more in the Bookish community on TH-cam or Insta Please please please try KM Shea!!
I have read a few of her books and like her writing! I especially love her King Arthur series. I found Fae Cafe on KU and am excited to start it. Thanks for the recommendations!!
I really want to re-read “Wonder.” 🥹 I read it when I was in middle school, and I feel like it would just be different to read it as an adult.🤍(Also, omg, it bothers me the way they talk about God in books sometimes, but what can we do😭)
"I laughed, I cried, it moved me, Bob" is one of my favorite quotes ever.

@@CelestriaMine too! I want a t shirt that says that!

Oh well I feel like kind of a jerk now for saying it was dumb 😂
It's just really overdone in books, so I get worked up over it. Thanks girl ❤️

Oh no! No more ciphers and codes in Thorndike series? 😮 That’s too bad.
I know 😭
"Granted, I don't know anything about spies..." - Sounds like something a spy would say! 😉🤣
