    That was the most realistic faint I’ve ever seen. 10/10 great faint

    I had a friend who fainted on me last year. I saw him fall and knew there wasn’t any life threatening injury. I sat him down and he was in shock begging me to call an ambulance. Instead i gave him an ice pack, frozen fruit to eat, and water. Dude was back to 100% within 30 minutes.

      Amature here. Isn't there some concern that he may have had something going on inside that might have needed checking out? Even if it's just to be on the safe side?

      @@jumanahidris2973 he was a healthy 20 year old with no pre existing health conditions. He was slightly dehydrated and his fall gave him a concussion. If he wasn’t my close friend and i didn’t know his health history then yes i would have called 911. But he was being responsive and i knew why he fainted. I wouldn’t recommend not calling 911 unless you know the person very well and know why they fainted, or their responses don’t become coherent within a short time after regaining consciousness.

    you should have also asked if she has had these previously and if she is on any medication before you decide to call 911

    when I was in middle school, a classmate fainted in front of me. She told the teacher that she didn't feel well but the teacher thought she wanted to escape the class. Suddenly the girl fainted and she hit her head so hard on the table's metal base that we heard the ringing all around the place :( I was the nearest one but I got shocked of the sound and I froze until her friends came to get her. I really want to learn how to act in cases like these.

      that’s horrible :( i’ve fainted in class before and when i was telling my teacher i didn’t feel well, my legs gave out and she caught me before i could hit the ground… i’m very thankful that i was fine afterwards

      melon latte I am very glad that you are fine now 💙 thank God your teacher was thinking fast enough and cought you before anything worse can happen! Thankfully my classmate didn’t have any notable injuries, she just had a terrible headache when she woke up.
      I hope you stay in good health💙

    I've also heard that if the person is still unconscious when you find them you should check if they've swallowed their tongue and if their airway is clear and put them in recovery position. I'm not sure if it's true but I am prone to fainting and my mum always does that for me.

    • @robmilne67
      @robmilne67 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can’t swallow your tongue, it’s attached to you. It can block the airway that’s it.

      Probably check glucose, ecg, pallor, and do a bnt. Depending on the case, they may or may not give fluids.
