- Hey, Friends! Here are those metallic watercolors from the last vid. I have only seen these in ONE vid on YT and that link is below if you are interested. This isn't the BEST "review" but I can tell you that these are really gorgeous on BLACK watercolor paper and are very comparable to the other more expensive brands that I have tried which are the Coliro and Finetech watercolors. I totally recommend these if you are looking for this type of paint. These were $16 the last time I checked and that is just crazy good, Ya'all!! Patty- I have been using this product for a while now. I must say none of the sets I ordered came to me the way yours came to you. I love these paints and will continue to order them as I need them. Thank you for showing their positive points. Too many times, individuals need what CSY doesn't deliver, so there is a feeling that they aren't so great. I love shiny things and will use them in the way they work for me. I appreciate your review.

Patty-I have used the metallic paints as embellishments and accents. They are great, but the matte paints I received behaved the same way yours did in the video. I won't get matte again. That's such a shame. Thanks for your insight on the situation.
@@patriciatolliver4057 yea that is a shame unfortunately. There are really good CHEAP regular watercolors thankfully. Have you tried the $20 Mei Liang watercolor pallette?? You probably have -I know they are popular and much more well known channels have shared them, but if not they are really fantastic esp for crafting etc. I have high end paints and those really hold there own esp the amount you get, the nice case, and the beautiful colors as well as color mixing. @megsgonnamake I haven't tried Meiliang yet. I'm on the fence. The brands I use regularly are DaVinci, MGraham, Sennelier, and Van Gogh. I'm contemplating Mission Gold. On the fence about that brand as well.
@@patriciatolliver4057 oh well those brands are definitely better paints for sure!! I love them too. The Mei Liang are just a bargain paint set I suggest usually to those who can't afford the others or for kids..or if u are like me and just love trying different paints. I really enjoy my tiny sample set of Mission Gold. I got a sample of all the pure colors from Ebay and they mix so beautifully!! Also, another great one to try is Rosa! I LOVE the big pans...great paints!! Thanks again for the paint chat! I could talk about Watercolors all day 🌝

I'm not 100% sure if u mean in the pan or on paper, but it is not sticky on either for me! I love them! What a deal right?! Hope u enjoy! If u are looking for great black watercolor paper by chance Stonehedge Aqua (hopefully I spelled right) is EXCELLENT for these ;) Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Are these lightfast?
I haven't done any window testing on them, Teresa so I am not sure. I haven't found any info on LF for these. I never trust any watercolors to be 100% lightfast just because of the type of medium it is. I know some fade more than others so i generally just keep my watercolor art out of direct sunlight. They also make uv glass for framing watercolor artwork too.
Anyone know if the brush pens are still available? I can't find them.
Michelle, are you talking about the Large Artify empty waterbrush pens?

I've got nno problem with "overpackaging" things that are fragile. I recently ordered a porcelain Jake Richeson watercolor palate (retailed for almost $100, and had Prime delivery) and it didn't even make it out of the Amazon depot before it was reported as "damaged in transit" and my order was canceled, which really disappointed me because I ordered it for my birthday. Nope, PLEASE, vendors, pack, pad, insulate, and bubble-wrap the bejeezuz out of our orders!!!
I couldn't agree more! I hate when stuff is under packaged and gets damaged..very annoying!!
