I haven't heard the 'Cult of Crenshaw' reference in many years, but I guess you'd count Dave (bass) and I (drums) part of the scene. These were originally separate tracks, as you'd imagine, all laid down on Tuesdays, so it's nice to hear a collab after all this time. Lots of talented players and some real pro production.
