Ironman is one of the few characters that can be played just as well on PC as controller. Adjust sensitivity to your comfort level, learn when and where to use his hand or chest blasts through trial and error. Honestly playing Ironman is less of an aiming check and more of a resource management and map knowledge check. If you can predict where someone will be with their back turned you can easily pick 2 people before retreating to relative safety or otherwise pulling enemy attention away from your Frontline. What's great is there are so many ways to play him based on current circumstances.

Honestly, it is pretty reassuring to see you have a somewhat slow start then snowball into you grabbing ace after clutching first point. As someone who’s trying to main Iron Man it’s rough fighting the impulse to switch off after a bad opening minute lol.
Well the beam does more damage so you should use it as much you can if possible. Blasts are good to spam from far away, I assume they also dont have falloff damage like rockets from Pharah in OW. The most important thing is that you always have cover, and as DPS try to off angle the enemy team as much as possible. If they see and shoot you, reposition to another off angle, always off angle if possible as DPS.
You need to start to add the missiles to one shot someone when you flank. Just aim below them with the missiles and it will deal a lot of dmg then E laser ez one shot. Example you could have killed raccoon here at 2:07 using this combo.

patience is a big deal with iron man, plus it takes time to learn how the enemy is playing before you adapt and roll them

Prolly blast far away beam up close blast up super close. But I’m no expert lol

using primary with it is one shot dont use beam and it has to be a flat surface or it wont work
