riding this shape in an 8.6, Alpha 5, custom shape, slightly wider, channels replaced by fluted flyers, goes as a twin or 3 fin. Had some great surfs so far.
Great review. I'm thinking of adding this to my quiver. I bought the CJ Nelson Apex after your review and I'm having a blast! I've been taking the Apex to more point breaks but I'm thinking this Reverse Vee would be great for the beach breaks.
Me too. The Real review on their website has Trip surfing some bigger waves with it. Unfortunately my coastline only delivered what I showed at the time of the review.
How does the Alpha Twin compare to a Haley Pin? I am looking for something to surf on choppy/bigger days. Groveling is less of a priority. Are they noticeably different?
Could you review the Maurice Cole Reverse Vee Twin Diamond from Real Water Sports? I have one and am trying to get a breakdown from a pro because the thing is wild!
Would this be too big of a jump from a 9 ft 6 longboard? I'm finding in bigger waves the board is a bit bulky, but scared i'm not going to be able to catch anything at first since it's a whole foot jump. Surfing out in Montauk and thinking about this for the fall season... any advice would be appreciated!
Leaving a comment to trigger the TH-cam algorithm. You guys deserve way more subs! Great review.
Thank you. I really appreciate it.

Beautiful board!
Love my twin pin and diamond twin. Need to get out there on and Alpha for a spin. Great review. 🔥

So I think the reverse vee is a great board for a long wave too. Meaning more point breaks and surfs really well backside as well.
Nice review. I’ve always considered reverse V a board for a front footed surfer.
The vee in the entry helps in the choppier conditions. Ur surfing it really well!
Another great real world review. 🤙😀
Thank you very much. This one was a real treat haha
Would love to see this one in slightly bigger surf... shoulder to OH.

I would love to. I just need to get one in my hands haha.

Sick!!
How far down does the v on the board go?
Half way
1/3
I believe one third.
I've been recklessly eyeballin' a 10' 1" on Real's website.
I hope you ended up getting it. I bet its insane.
Hey Everyone
Too bad you tested it in knee high junk. Board looks like it would work well in pacific point waves
Don’t they all work good in pacific point waves.
Nice review shame about the background music
Sorry your not feeling the music. Hope it doesn’t discount the show.
@@surfcraftunion. The music is fine. Ignore the grumpy man.
