This continues to blow me away man, this is hands down the best build I've seen. Still geeking out that this is on the Dunedin map. You're using those tight spaces soooo freaking well.
Team car! I live out in the country in Virginia and have to drive everywhere. I love how you refer to real places around the world. I know Norfolk well! ❤
For a more realistic city you will need tents under the bridges! Classic City Experience btw I love this type of video format you have established for youself. Few camera angles, some club music and your commentary. Other games you have planned to make videos to? imperatur x city planner plays when? pls?
I have been following you for quite a bit now and I must say I absolutely love all your builds, they feel so natural! Great job and very well done! I wanna steal some of those Lumina settings of yours ;)
This is crazy! Love it :) Considering the current workplace shortage and the future plans to build a dense downtown, maybe one or two of the tiles should be a mainly abandoned rowhouse district or maybe a ghetto filled with grungier props.
9:20 Not Just Bikes disliked that! xD Btw, public transit FTW 100% of any transit scenario. I mean.. I sure do love making HUGE intersections in this game, but in real life, Public Transport ftw. It's a shame that it works kinda meh in CS2, and the lack of bikes is a huge nono. Sadge LOVING this series.
In the lane connector tool, toward the bottom left you can click "remove unsafe" and it will get rid of all the turns on an intersection considered unsafe, such as u-turns.
8:49 maybe you could rebuild this exit in something more fancy like the exit 14 "Büderich" in Neuss, where the A52 exits on the Kevelaerer Straße. It has one huge intersection below the bridge of the highway instead of two seperate ones. I think to have something like this would be really interesting
I like the way of how you are trying to combine American and European city planning. You can create a beach instead of a waterfront, something like Constanța, which has both a huge harbor and beaches on is’s shoreline with the Black Sea. You can create an artificial canal and build a downtown around it. Anyways, amazing video
It is not uncommon to have major employers offer a dedicated, private busline from a collecting point somewhere with lots of parking to the workplace. It's even more common for large construction projects, like the stuff that Novo is doing here in Denmark. They have fulltime busdrivers do loops to ferry all of the construction workers to and from the site, without having to deal with mass parking issues, or the traffic chaos from it when mixed with the flow of heavy vehicles.
is there a reason you've stopped puttingin the number of game crashes per build - I don't know why but that was something I found/find helpful given we all experience them, "if Imperatur can build this with crashes my efforts and experiences are all ok", somehow :) Amazing build as always, cheers
Many cruise ship terminals have turning basins at one end, or both ends of the port. Check out the Port of Miami for a turning basin between the port (Dodge Island) and the actual shore. Although it's angled, it's about 1.5 times the size of a modern cruise ship to allow the ships to turn around. This allows ships that need to dock facing the wrong way (inbound) to turn around on departure, or the opposite can be true. The asset requiring room isn't completely unreasonable, therefore. Here's an example: th-cam.com/video/YPkis8KitCE/w-d-xo.html
infrastructurist showed me that there is a bug with the number of workplaces. That big office buildings only have 5 jobs etc. Don't you have the same issue?
From what I’ve seen, it depends on the situation. A lot of unemployment usually stems from not having enough jobs for the two lowest education levels. Solving those requires a lot of level 1 buildings I believe and city service jobs….but don’t quote me on that. So in answer to your question, yes and no.
I’m pathetically hooked on this series 😭 It’s just too good
fr
Can’t wait for the airport, an airport build is how I found your channel and you’re extremely good at making those. I LOVE this series!

The city is turning out amazingly good! I'm team hot dog van! 😂

I'm team "both cars and public transit are useful and serve a purpose and they aren't mutually exclusive."

This is episode 20 now?🤔😂
I love your non-smooth look you've added to this city.
This is crazy! Love it :)

Would love to see a diverging diamond interchange in the city!
Shut your mouth! 😂

What mods do you use?
infrastructurist showed me that there is a bug with the number of workplaces. That big office buildings only have 5 jobs etc.
Don't you have the same issue?
PC specs?
I have a question: how did you make your game so bright? If you used any mod, tell me what it's called
I‘ll give you a tip if you want to have a public marina. If you want to know?
what are these song lyrics? 😆
🎉🎉
Wouldn't commercial and office zoning also push down unemployment?
