@captainjackmoto I think most Primus fans tend to agree that Frizzle Fry was their best output. I like all the albums but there's a style to those songs that just fits the bill for everything that I appreciate about the band

I remember Limp Bisquit came out of nowhere in April 1999 and was HUGE until fall of 2001 and they disappeared. Then 10 years later I started asking whatever happened to Fred Durst.

Limp Bizkit was so big in fact that the Chocolate Starfish record (the one with My Generation and Rollin') is the fastest selling rock album in 7 days, at million copies with the entire top 20 being pop albums.
Picked it up at midnight at the Zia Records the minute it went on sale.

Limp biz kit defined a generation. I was about 14 when they started getting traction then they blew up when I was in high school. I finally saw them in 2010 when I was at 98 rock fest. Best concert I’ve ever seen and limp killed it. Thank you Fred for defining my childhood and formative years bro. I still listen to your music almost everyday at now 38 years old! Dad life vibes son!!!

For all the hate Limp Bizkit got over the years im really glad that now they're getting more respect, i always felt bad for Fred and the band cause they were just being themselves. For a long time people shit all over them, and especiallyon Fred. Which is so weird cause he's the nicest guy ever if you listen to people who actually know him or listen to interviews. But those same people forget that Limp Bizkit was the biggest act in the world from 1999 to 2002 ish. And they know how to blow an audience away, and still do. Limp bizkit songs will always be apart of my playlist. They did their own thing and stuck with it, even through all that trash talk they got for yearsss

I remember jamming to Nookie with my dad when I was like 5 in his burgundy chevy on the way to the saw mill not knowing what the hell it was about 😂, I’d also see their videos on vh1 in the morning I think crazy to see he’s this old now
Fred seemed a little surprised and taken aback but Bill was correct. There was a time where Limp Bizkit was the shit. Literally everywhere. He’s not wrong to say they were a cultural phenomenon, at least until a lot of people began souring on them. I’m glad to see them get something of a resurgence, though. I think Fred is under appreciated by a lot of people.

Agree. $3 dollar Bill enabled LB to catch on with Korn and other nu-metal bands. Then the follow-up album got the boost via TRL. LB just caught a wave at the perfect time. Then they faded out quickly after that.
