Your videos are doing the public a great service. Anyone with even a minimum amount of awareness and objectivity can see right through your paper-thin critiques and prejudice. I certainly hope the algorithm keeps bringing your videos to more eyeballs. Aptera's obvious strengths and vision definitely needs a wider audience, and if your low-effort, troll-ish efforts help do that then godspeed.
Reverse psychology doesn't work. Other clowns have tried it before, and I have seen through every one of them. You fanboys mostly dip below the minimum amount of awareness and objectivity, anyway, lol. And if my points were paper-thin it would be easy for anyone with a minimum amount of awareness and objectivity to expose them with rational debunks; never happened. Calling my points prejudiced is simply lying. Who in this world owns an EV and an ICE sports convertible and harbours prejudice for something that doesn't exist? If they're doing real development, I would expect their prototypes to be their only real focus. With all of the money they've brought in, they should have a prototype that is shockingly similar to the final product by now. I'm appalled to see this ancient thing in a video, again. WTF? In the original video around the one minute mark, Chris Anthony said, "When the chassis and body structure arrive, components can be installed right away." So exactly what is that behind him? Why didn't the camera do a sweep around it to show us the progress? Why don't they already have everything they need in California? How can they have the wiring complete without connectors and components? I also love the part where Steve Fambro said the gamma "burned its way around the track at fast speeds." The trike was limited to 60 mph (about 100 km/h). That kind of speed is "burning" on a go-kart track.
As of March the molds for much of the suspension were not completed, we don't even know how much of it was commissioned. They hinted at a July date for a vehicle that could be driven but would not commit to how much would actually be production intent.
@@andromedach This is just a guess, but since Chris said they're done with the beta vehicle, it wouldn't shock me if beta parts including the suspension was reused on the new body. I find it curious that they showed beta setting in a rented storage facility. Why not show it at their "factory?" It is fascinating they did a camera sweep over beta, but not over the new body behind Chris. What are they not saying speaks more than what they did say.

I started mid last year asking about the status of all other parts that would have to be present to complete the BinC. The BinC should have been the LAST assembly, with proto/pre-production variants of everything else there. Nope. Keypoint is that until you have successfully flogged mules representing the entire system, you know nothing. You get this, others don't or don't want to.
I pointed out on the Aptera video (and Nelson responded) that when they said in Nov./Dec. "PI's will be completed in the first few months of next year" they are basically 5 months later saying exactly that, again. He said I haven't been paying attention. So I asked "When will PI.2, aka "the pretty one", be done? Give us a date. Predictable _____ response.
I totally agree with 1 thing CA said: "We're just getting started".
The mules are 2 years late. Gamma will be 2 years old by Labor Day. The Delta design is 16 months old, the Red Viking AGV's arrived 11 months ago. They have no concept of sequence or time.

Can't believe he mentioned Flux Power. It's his not very successful Fork lift battery company - what happened to that Korean battery deal? They are still seeking partners to make it possible? So right now it's not possible? The UAE guys laugh at Aptera.

Chris stepped down as CEO of that company in 2013. That was to head up that boat business. He did say on as chairman of the board (he's a modern Frank Sinatra) until 2019. Then they did an IPO and failed. He left and started Aptera. So a year after he left, Flux Power did an IPO and succeeded.
For Chris to claim that Flux power is his business would be like him claiming that a car he owned a few years ago and sold, is still his car.

If they got 1 donation, they have an obligated 2026 delivery i suspect they'll never be able to do. They're probably better off not getting the donation and not being obligated.

Being Aussie, I have never heard of USCG but it doesn't matter - even a good crowdfunder or company that hunts for investors is not anything to crow about. They have still not found that elusive angel investor, but the slick snake oil master talks it up as if they have. The only thing stopping the disappointment among fanboys is their incapacity to comprehend, lol.

I'm wondering what kind of terms they're willing to offer a company that has no equipment and would pay 8 cents on the dollar if they liquidated today.
USCG connects investors with companies. For a fee, of course. That’s the reason the crowdfund operation has to end. Once that’s wound down, USCG will be awarded a new set of shares with more privileges than the crowdfunders got. Then USCG will start showcasing the company looking for real investors. Expect to see more updates of roadshows and meetings. There’s no guarantee that they’ll find any actual investors, though. So production in 2025 is still a big IF.
I’m betting all the electrical work they’ve done thus far has been CAD. Meaning they are still creating another prototype. They aren’t close to production at all.

I suspect that Gamma will be out for lots of those dog and pony shows. At this point the superfans are doing a victory lap and as to the details, they do not want to know. That's a buzzkill. We really will not know until the next SEC filing.

@Sprintmedia200 I personally think they will rake in a few more millions; these guys know what they are doing. However, I think most will find its way into brown paper bags. I also personally think they never intend to produce, which I have done so since I first heard of their repeat performance. I think that way on the basis that I determined the first effort was a slick, contrived ponzi scheme that worked and they could do better on a second sweep. I know they sold the "out of money" story and got away with it, but the product did overheat and it was never resolved. None of the prototypes were ever tested, either. I believe the Gamma has overheated three times already, and I don't accept their proof that they have fixed it. The evidence is too easily contrived. Nor has there been any evidence of all of their performance claims. So I believe when they have milked the gullible to their satisfaction, they will fold and use the same "out of money" excuse. This is interesting because they have already said they can produce silly trikes to sell no matter how slow the money comes in. It's only because I have seen them lie so many times already that I still believe they will fold with that same excuse. And it's because the LE is being made with no (abandoned) skin cooling and a makeshift internal system that I think will stew in its own heat which won't be fit for purpose. Not only will it overheat way too often, it will not come close to the performance measures they have spruiked, nor the prices they have left unchanged for four years. If that's not enough, their path to production is completely inept. I struggle to find reasons why they are doing well. It's just my personal evaluations, and being a novice I may be completely wrong, but I am happy to provide a balanced viewpoint which I believe people are lacking.

Aptera, like Fisker, has failed before. It is another company that can talk all they want, but I won't believe a word from them until the product is launched, and has been in the hands of actual owners for a year to see if the company still exists.
A bit hard on Fisker - at least they sell a few cars before going under, lol.

"How so?" First up, prototypes don't count - nobody buys them. That means there is no Aptera to even claim one works. Done and dusted right there. However, the prototypes have been lied about. Since they have not established a single claim, the default position is nothing works until it has been shown to.
"Got any first person sources or just winging it?" I'm the first-person source, and I go by facts. When there are none I don't pretend there are any. Let's run through claims versus established truths?
Skin cooled. You can dismiss this because they say they have dropped it for the LE.
0.13 Cd. A doctored Gamma did Pininfarina and no results given. Smaller Alpha got an estimate from CFD - doesn't count.
0-60mph under 4 seconds. Never been proven.
40 miles on solar. Never shown to do an inch.
400 mile range on Gamma. Never shown to do ten.
40 or 45 kWh battery. Never been seen. Probably a forklift battery in any of the prototypes
Regen brakes. Test drivers have admitted there are none on any prototype driven.
Torque Vectoring. Never proven.
Aircon. Admitted to not have any. Promise one of the PI's will eventually get it.
101 mph top speed. Never seen more than 50. Refused to take it over 60 on a racetrack, but didn't see 60.
Passed a moose test. Faked the course and faked the results.
There are more, but that should be enough to show you are clueless. The onus is on them to show it works, not on people to show it doesn't. What they have shown would only satisfy a really gullible f001. Now you provide your sources like you should - and try to tell the difference between facts and nothing but snake oil lies.
I posted a suggestion on Aptera Mothership’s video that they should put the agreement they signed with US Capital on their site.
The details of that would be quite interesting.
Fan reaction is “We’re funded!”.

Details? Caveats? Risks? Amounts? Timelines?
Stop it with the details. Nobody wants to know. It's just like with Elio Motors. Nobody wanted to know that Elio leased a plant for $173K per month and were late on the first payment and paid at least another $10K per month due to being late. Then there was the $26M loan to buy all of the equipment in the plant. They were late on the first payment and the interest rate went to 18%. Maybe that $7.5M fine they got when they didn't get 1500 workers hired in the plant by June 2015.
Just that alone was drowning the company in debt and all of that was signed back in January 2013. So by the time they were ready to do the IPO, they had to put that info in the SEC filing. Yet, the fans ignored it. Best part is today, those issues has racked the company over $230M in debt and it increases by about $17M per year. Yet some fans still think it'll work.
It’s sit back and watch time.
The talkers are now faced with having to be doers. Not their strength.
That whole “PI’s completed in the first few months of next year” was, in fact, what SHOULD have happened. There was budget and every opportunity to do exactly that. But it was clear, many months prior, that they were doing none of the things required to get there.
And now they’re past that. They’ve now not only openly failed on a basic development/pre-production effort, but they’re faced with catch-up plus production ramp-up on something they haven’t even proven as a system.
With each passing month, they have repeatedly made everything worse. In an expensive, high risk way.
It’s in the @sh-t hitting the fan stage. Full exposure that going about the process the wrong way doesn’t get you where you want to go.
IF they had done an L5-e 2m design, and IF they had a strong design & manufacturing team with real cred, I think they could have pulled this off.
That’s the sadness. It was doable, but not by them.
When you get a real investor it costs you nothing. This one charges.

From the company’s website, “US Capital provides sophisticated debt, equity, and investment products to lower middle market companies and investors….” They are more of a fund management company with a bank component for debt deals. Because we don’t know ANY details of the the deal made with aptera we don’t have a way of knowing is it was all debt, all investment funding, or combination of each. (Really Aprera owes it to their existing investors to provide them with details of the agreement they made!!!)

Typical vehicle has about 1 sq.ft. of finned radiator with fan to cool when not moving. About that much cooling provided by a heat pump compressor has to be installed in Aptera with A/C.

Got to love the obviously staged use of employees walking behind the presenter, my favorite was the one who was confused of where to go. They received that PI body in April and they could not even show off the work of electrical team routing wiring and similar. All this supplier talk simply enforces the fact that none of the previous declarations of a production date had any truth.
I see they hired a new head of solar, given the reviews left on Glass Door are so negative I doubt it is a fun place to work. What happened to CTNS as this recent announcement of new battery manager and local manufacturing is completely at odds with previous announcements.
Steve's choice of words while in the UAE are ignorant. Progressive in how they bring in new technologies,the term certainly does not fit their treatment of gays, minorities,and women. Worse the UAE is accused through RSF(Gold Mining) to be funding genocide in Sudan - the Darfur are being wiped out. Why do I believe Mr Lui left for that very reason

I guess they are still working on that wiring harness? It's been like 5 weeks. I guess if workers are wandering around, placing pylons and moving signs, then it takes longer to fit that harness.

First up - are you related to the wacky Bruce baby? He's an interesting person, if nothing else.
Now, I have no argument they said the same about Musk, but like I have been telling Bruce for ages, it is irrelevant. The timeframes for each are independent of each other and comparisons are meaningless. And if Musk promises and doesn't deliver on his prediction dates, he is just as guilty as anyone. Nobody gets excused - at least not until after a product turns up. It's remotely possible Aptera gets a silly trike sold, but it was promised on about five occasions since 2020, and all have passed. June 2024 was about the last, depending on a few of the varying statements, and now they have put that back to 2025. Let me know if someone buys and registers one next month? And we have over 590 days until Dec 31 2025. They are not saying when in 2025.

Maybe someone needs to be critical of the company? Is that OK, or should all dissenters be silenced? Many of us have. I've been blocked by many channels by just being critical, pointing out facts and flaws of Aptera. At least here, there are a few of us that can voice our opinions and presenting questions without being banned or blocked.
I just noticed there are three pro-Aptera videos already, since the late April update. Watching them should put me back to sleep. I keep getting up in pain since my e-bike crash.

@ronfarnsworth7074 Ron, the data is not so much a disagreement but an acknowledgement that it is unsubstantiated and appears inflated. Nor is it limited to the slack repetitive pro-Aptera videos that come almost daily, and sometimes up to five at a time. If you watch over 100 of my videos and read my comments in over 500 of theirs (where I am not blocked) you would know everything I have doubts about. I will make a list here, but it won't be complete.
1. Before version 2, I doubt the claim they folded due to lack of cash was true, and fear it was a successful Ponzi scheme. They had Google backing them, so money couldn't have been an issue. They also had a 2e prototype that overheated and was never fixed. Instead, they pretty much destroyed the evidence.
2. In the interim, a Chinese company bought the IP rights and for many years made nothing. That is not like the Chinese. If this idea was workable, there would be millions on the roads, at least in China.
3. American crowdfunding laws changed (I don't know how) and I think they saw it as an opportunity for a second Ponzi. Not an accusation, but a consideration most people overlook.
4. The main issue is the same 'skin cooling' that was never fixed. They made a claim it was the reason for the efficiency, but the video and other explanations appeared nonsense to me, and I thought it would still overheat. I made two videos explaining in lay terms why, as well as explained it in many comments over the past almost three years. Nobody has ever refuted me. Since I began, the Alpha's have never driven long enough to prove they don't overheat; the Beta was given a radiator; and Gamma has overheated on at least three occasions, while still not being driven very far. But more than that, they have announced that skin cooling is abandoned for the LE because it doesn't work. Unfortunately, their replacement internal system also appears to cook in its own heat.
5. They claim in-hub motors are superior yet don't prove it. My knowledge of handling tells me they are not only inferior but likely to be dangerous. It's not my role to prove this, but theirs to establish.
6. They claimed 3.5 then under 4 sec for a 0-60 time, yet no evidence despite being on a drag strip once and turning the timing lights off.
7. They claimed 110 then 101 mph and never shown it.
8. They claimed it passed a Moose test but it was only a contrived version they did. It has never had an official test.
9. They ran a race they obviously doctored. It was over about 200 yards so the others couldn't get past, but there was no telling what weights they added to the others, or how hard their go-pedals were pressed.
10. They claim solar is workable, when it has never been proven to be any more than an expensive gimmick. Again, they have no evidence of it.
11. They have kept a fixed but indefinite price through years of high inflation.
12. The width is impractical for a two-seater.
13. They claim a 0.13 Cd but never verified it despite Gamma being in a wind tunnel. It was probably doctored to be better than a production model could be in any case.
14. They said it had regen, then Nikki from TE drove it and said it had none.
15. They said it had torque vectoring but never showed it, and no tester has detected any.
16. They claim three ranges and three battery sizes for which the claims are ridiculous. As for the 100kWh battery, they have never even made one and need an unproven height for the cells to fit.
17. They claim up to 43mi range from solar per day and have never shown an inch.
18. The rear hatch has a problem with weight being high over a single and central wheel.
19. The wheel pants dip fore and aft depending on which way they turn and are unfit for normal use.
20. I'll leave it at an even 20 with Chris Anthony having lied too often for my liking, from broken promises of production dates to deceptions about electricity being more efficient than fossil fuels and practically everything in between.
Look at the space he's in. They put some cones out but it still looks like a fake factory. It's a shame that all the fans will disappear when Aptera fold - we'll not get the chance to gloat.😢

Your videos are doing the public a great service. Anyone with even a minimum amount of awareness and objectivity can see right through your paper-thin critiques and prejudice. I certainly hope the algorithm keeps bringing your videos to more eyeballs. Aptera's obvious strengths and vision definitely needs a wider audience, and if your low-effort, troll-ish efforts help do that then godspeed.

You made a stupid video. You say facts are facts, but gave none. Everything you quoted were snake oil lies. Discounts for cars are exactly that, and they can't be extended to machines that are less than that, which Aptera clearly is - that's if one ever exists. So you went to the factory and test drove a silly trike? Why then didn't you show footage of the drive? None of what you use is of your drive. And was it in the Gamma? Has it returned from Abu Dhabi? Or was it in an old Alpha? Did it get you an inch on solar? Did you even leave the car park? Did you stretch its legs on a freeway and test out that overheating problem; range; top speed and under 4 sec time claims? Give us some details of the state of the factory, and how the wiring loom looked inside that CF SMC shell you touched? Or could you not find one? You are conning the gullible for some gain that you will never realize. Answer my questions here and on the three latest videos I make for no gain because I will paste copies to them.
