Man. Have to say -- your driving is so much cleaner and the car looks happy with 315s out back. Seat time + setup time. So cool to see, man. Nice work!
@@JackieDing86 Maybe GTA will open up to 315s in Street... Yeah, big aero makes a big difference, but sometimes loose feels good! Crazy to see aero working so well, but the suspension seems dialed too. Amazing you can get power down with some steering angle, and over rough areas or curbs. Makes me realize my car needs a lot of setup work (aside from being totaled).
11:38 That "Up to Speed" reference though. 👌 Really hope that you and the Supra get featured in "Bumper 2 Bumper" if they go back to their original format.
Jackie, you need to set your gopro to -1 on the exposure compensation for in car footage. The in car video will look so much better! I love your mirrors!
This this this so much. I wasn't sure if GoPros had exposure, but if you can turn it down some, it would become so much easier to see the road (instead of the interior)! And also less random 30 fps moments.
We use the GoPro sessions so I don't think the Exposure Compensation can be adjusted? I've already been using ND filters but obviously these days the ND8 filter isn't quite enough and we'll need ND16 and more.
That’s badass to see the track sprint. Locally they have trackcross (same thing as tracksprint, at dominion raceway in va and summit point in wv) that allows me to get on track more often than HPDE/time attack does cause it’s significantly cheaper. That’s what first got me on track in my STi and addicted.
Suspension setup is obviously not ideal for the downgraded aero. Car seems to be really really loose compared to normal. Good driving as usual. Thanks for the entertainment!
Great progress throughout the weekend (setup & confidence). The 2nd attempt for the 2nd sprint felt so good until breaking too late/hard, I literally felt the pain just by watching! After this I really would like to see a McLaren racing with a plywood plate ;-)
NCM is hard because I always seem to mess up one sector and can’t manage a perfect lap with all the marks you have to hit each time. Did your data give you an ideal time?
@@JackieDing86 look up nyst (new york safety track). That's your best bet for breaking a record. Njmp (2 tracks) and Watkins Glen are also great places to go around here. Fresch Hazar on facebook if you want to hit me up
Car control is on point but if you need it that much just shows the car isn't setup right or you are working the throttle way 2 hard. And the bumpsteer on the stock supra is horrible, did u do anything about it?
@@BoostdPanda as i say bumpsteer. Horrible at higher speeds. The suspension geometry of the stock car is really bad and you have to replace a lot of parts to get rid off it. And if you don't know what bumpsteer is u can just look it up.
To be honest with you, I noticed no bumpsteer issue at all. We changed suspension arms on this car but have tracked several examples of A90 Supra stock, with no real issues of bumpsteer. As for our specific car, I explained in the video why the setup isn’t right and how I had to drive around the issue
@@TheTechnoaddict So, I guess you had put the A90 Supra on an alignment rack and measure the toe change relative to the suspension travel? Or did you watched some TH-cam videos, and came to the conclusion that every A90 Supra out there need to spend thousands of dollars on aftermarket crossmembers to "fix" this "issue"?
@@keyboardracing haha no my brother has one, my mate has one and sold it after 2 months. Yes we checked toe change while suspension travel and it was horrible. Changed control arms and helped a bit. Brought it to a company that changed the steering rods, altered the subframe. I know 6 of them that are bought for track racing and they all took them out of use untill it got fixed cause it was just dangerous on the nurburgring.

Imagine if we could run 315s AND the high downforce. That would be killer, haha

i like the scooter section😉
I have to wait to watch, can’t wait to get home. Your videos are the best. You really give a feel for the track life.
Jackie, you saving some hotdog for later? You got a little bread on the side
I don't see a rule about a front splitter having to be totally flat for Max class on the SCCA time trials website. Is this something brand new?
I just love when it's lap time and there's a little jackie flavored commentary. Great work phd racing!

Freaking love it
@@JackieDing86 Me too, freaking PERFECT!
Nice driving Jackie! Those Vettes are fast, and light, and really well setup even in stock trim.
Nice driving, and impressive Peachy with that C6, those Corvette C6s are serious time attack machines.

It is a very accessible way to get people on track for sure. I just wish we get a few more cracks at it, haha
That looks like it was a fun event! 4 days is a lot but still looks like it was a good time.
Definitely a good time. It didn’t help that it happened during the hottest time of the year but we enjoyed it all in all.
Did a 4 days event too. Can confirm it gets very tiring near the end.
It was awesome see you two running at Autobahn last week! Look forward to see you all at future gridlife events
Thanks, we'll get to that video soon haha
that virtual rear view mirror is cool, like assetto corsa
at what speed does your aero start to become effective on your usual setup?
They really start making a big difference at 60+ mph, but can feel a bit of that even below it
You car control is mad , catching all those slides, amazing !!!
These uploads are awesome. Thanks!
Casually opens the video eating a hotdog 😂🤣😂

Why is the additive needed if running only 93 pump gas? Good to know the product works though
“Like Lewis Hamilton said before he fucked up…” LMAO 🤣
Saw u there, was super cool to see the car and you in person. I broke a wheel bearing and fought a bunch of issues with my car though.
Definitely drove the Supra to the limit. Good job 👌🏽

Impressive to see GTR’s doing time attack!
gotta ditch that AMS charge pipe until they come out with a better design
