There's something quite simply magical about Irish music.
I listened to this song today morning. Nothing special happened in my life yesterday but I was just sitting and crying. Me, grown up man, polish folk musician, was sitting and crying, because the song is so beautiful. Maybe it sounds funny but i felt like bass drum started in 2:11 filling some holes in my soul. I don't know if we can change the world, but you gave me a little piece of pure beauty to invite to my life. Thank you so much.

I wonder if Allie had a hand in editing this, or whether each of the featured artists got a different copy. Compare this to the official VEVO one, and all the shots with Allie are different (she's not in the final collage one at all in this video)... and a guitarist at 2:58 in the VEVO one is completely gone from this one.

One of my all time favourite songs - I can still remember when it was first released (yep, I’m *that old 😂). This is a fantastic cover, a collaboration of seriously talented musicians. For me there’s something about the Irish accent that seems to lend itself beautifully to singing - maybe it’s that I’m a scouser, most folk here have some Irish blood in our families!
